08.01.2022 Hi everyone, Jane Bunn has told us that there may be some showers today for our little event. Although the wineries have done their best late yesterday to adjust their venues and plans in preparation, we still encourage you to bring either a raincoat, poncho, or umbrella just to be safe. Most of the rain is happening in the morning Let’s embrace any rain that may come (it’s good for the vines and our farmers )and please have patience and understanding for the staff and wi...neries who have worked hard at putting this event on - they were hoping and expecting a nice day as well. It’s looking like most of the heavy rain will clear by midday. Final reminder to be at Tom Flood Sports Centre 15 minutes prior to your departure time. Which are: PINK & YELLOW (Single Bus Per Colour) Bus departs Tom Flood Sports Centre at 11:00am sharp Bus arrives back at Tysons Reef Hotel at 4:40pm (approx.) 08.01.2022 Wow, what a day! Thank you to everyone who braved the rain and poor conditions to join us for the first ever By The Vine. We had 600 people across 6 venues involving 10 wineries! We would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding - Mother Nature wasn’t kind to us but you didn’t let it dampen your spirits. We have some great photos to share with you later in the week. Until then, cheers
08.01.2022 Everything you need to know for By The Vine - Bendigo! - All buses leave Tom Flood Sports Centre Bendigo (Water Street / Park Road, Bendigo - Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your departure time... PINK & YELLOW (Single Bus Per Colour) Bus departs Tom Flood Sports Centre at 11:00am sharp Bus arrives back at Tysons Reef Hotel at 4:40pm (approx.) BLUE & RED (2 buses available for each colour) Bus departs Tom Flood Sports Centre at 11:45am sharp Bus arrives back at Tysons Reef Hotel at 5:30pm (approx.) You will then receive your wristband and wineglass for the day (you only get 1 so please look after it) - Tysons Reef Hotel are hosting a wonderful after party in their carpark / beer garden with live music, food and drinks. Please organise your lifts home from there. - There is likely to be some showers at some point during the day so please dress accordingly, maybe an umbrella? The event will continue rain, hail or shine and the wineries will try their best to provide a fun undercover atmosphere if needed - the afternoon is look nice! - Please bring cash. Some wineries will offer eftpos but some won't so please bring cash to be safe. Want to bring a picnic rug? Go for it! - Strictly no BYO alcohol or food sorry! Please feel free to bring bottled water and soft drink. (Complimentary bottled water offered throughout the day on the bus) - Food will be available at each winery, please head to our website for further info on food and wine-list. There will be GF and VEG options. - If you miss the bus, unfortunately you miss the bus! there will be no waiting around as each bus is on a tight schedule. Please listen for the calls of by the vine staff and security and make your way to the bus at departure time! - All wineries will offer beer and cider in addition to some of the regions best wine. - There is no alcohol to be consumed on the bus.
