18.01.2022 Rebuilding WOG 007, some say the most recognisable and memorable car of its era. When you undertake such an extensive build you never truly understand what it ...takes to get it done. When ninety percent of the build is designed and fabricated the hours needed to reach completion seem endless. With such an iconic car we had no choice but to raise the bar and bring WOG 007 into 2020. Cars like this cannot be built without talented people and we need to make a special mention to Bill Perko Perkovski, his input and experience throughout the build was irreplaceable. Bill was also responsible for the faultless Haltech Nexus ECU install, all plumbing and the complete final assembly. When part reliability is paramount there was never an option other than Hypertune. We used their 347 S/S exhaust manifold materials, boost clamps and throttle body. Haltech released the new Nexus ECU just in time for us to utilise it in the Cortina build. With assistance from its canbus keypad it controls the entire car from blinkers and headlights to fuel and ignition. Andrew Poole thank you and great job on the engine bay panel and paint.
