22.01.2022 Sorry we’ve been a bit quite lately , have had a bit on around the place but standout that we have in at the moment is a tidy hzj105 land cruiser for a timing belt kit and few other bits . This cruiser has done a nice 520k+ ks (I know , only just run in) but unknown last timing belt replacement, upon disassembly we noticed the hydraulic tensioner had failed and was leaking its fluid which if had been let go longer and customer had not got it changed now , could have cost a motor ! It is imperative to make sure your timing belt is changed when they are due (by time or ks) to make sure you motor is kept in tip top condition. We replaced the full timing belt kit , water pump and coolant flush and replaced all the drive belts on this one and purrs like the day it was built . Contact us now to make a booking .

21.01.2022 Had a customer call around tonight with a issue with his aircon on his canter truck , very quick inspection and found the problem ! Now Im no fabrication by any means but happy to help get him back on the road short term until the shops are open and can source a new bracket

21.01.2022 Had a customer bring there Prado to us with the radio not working after being to a couple other workshops , after a quick check , found a fuse was placed in the wrong spot , quick change back into the correct place and a happy customer with working radio again

20.01.2022 Update on the little Jimmy , New clutch fitted whilst gearbox was out , gearbox has been rebuilt and refitted , fresh fluids and a very happy jimmy owner to have the little weapon back on the road .

19.01.2022 Nice couple jobs for a Saturday Hyundai was bought to us with a coolant leak , customer was having to top up quite regularly , quick pressure test of the cooling system confirmed my initial suspicion the the radiator had let go . The top tank had split spewing the coolant every time it pressurised , replaces radiator and coolant flush and customer was on there way SRI Cruze in for a logbook service and transmission oil flush as the oil was black and contaminated which if l...eft could cause a number of issues ! 19.01.2022 A regular customer of ours was in for a service during the week and her Cruze has had the infamous oil cooler failure but because she keeps up with regular servicing , we were able to catch it early ! Ordered in a complete cooler assembly, carried out a full cooling system flush and then flushed with new coolant , will monitor hoses ect in the future ! If left , this will cause a lot more components to fail and require more extensive repairs and a lot more cost so lucky to catch it when we did ! 17.01.2022 Customer bought his ve in for service plugs and rear brakes and also his trailer to be re-wired and put protection in place for cross over sections of the wiring as it sees a lot of dirt and gravel road duties ! Fitted the wiring high and snug and ran through metal tubing in areas most vulnerable. Couple things to touch up next time but overall happy with the outcome

15.01.2022 Dont let your engine fall victim to lack of servicing , make sure you get your services done on time and with quality oil and filters . If your engine is starting to look like this you are going too long between services and/or not using the correct oil or quality oil , at this point the oil cannot do its job in keeping your engine protected and running smooth like it should be . The cost of servicing outways the cost of an engine and a lot of heartache . 12.01.2022 Customer in for a service this afternoon and chasing a hard to start issue and fuel smell, found the feed line was incorrect hose and had multiple splits leaking fuel ! Replaced with the correct hose which also rectified the starting issue and car is safe to drive again . If you have any concerns , be sure to contact us and we will sort you out

11.01.2022 Customer came to get a brake check done with the concern about a soft brake pedal that also crept whilst sitting at lights ect . Carried out a quick check over and a couple tests to find the master cylinder had failed and was bypassing . Quick change over with a new unit , bleed of the brake system and good as gold and the customer is back to having safe and responsive brakes . Brakes are an area not to take lightly so if you have any concerns or symptoms mentioned , get in contact for a free brake check before things get worse !

11.01.2022 Been a busy past few weeks , got a little work ute that needed some love ! Was told the gearbox needing replacing when purchasing the ute so decided to tear it down to inspect and gave it a good cleanup finding no issue with the box ! Ute had a vibration that we were chasing and found the clutch was had it and flywheel had major heat marks so machined the flywheel and replaced the clutch fixing the vibration issue . ... Next the diff had too much play for my liking so pulled the diff out and rebuilt it giving us a nice solid work ute We can meet any of you work requirements so dont hesitate to enquire !
