01.01.2022 BUSH FIRE RELIEF - A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL. C & J Stockfeeds were so proud to be part of a hay run of donated hay and straw and bottled water into Corryong to directly help those families impacted by this bush fire disaster. A large number of Mansfield families have connections with that part of Australia through our magnificent High Country, and it was wonderful to be able to help. ... There are so many people to thank, we thought we would put it in a longer post because we want people to know just how many others are helping, and to not feel afraid in lifting your hand and offering too. Firstly, huge thanks to James Tehan who in conjunction with the VFF really got the ball rolling for this hay drive. We can't wait to see the drone footage James captured. The trucks (large & small) together with their drivers were provided by C & J Stockfeeds (Craig & Justine Wedlock, with Bill Notley as driver of one), Gavin & Lisa Lang, Mark Calvert-Jones, Glenn Fox, Yencken Pastoral, Stuart Fox, Paul from Mt Buller Towing and Steve & Tamara Rabie. Hay and straw were generously donated by Top Foda, Parkseeds Pty Ltd, C & J Stockfeeds, Mansfield Insurance, Mark Calvert-Jones, James Tehan, Glenn Fox, Yencken Pastoral, Stuart Fox, Steve Rabie and Pinaroo Pastoral. Bottled water was also provided by Steve Rabie & his mates who came from Melbourne to help. None of this could have happened too without the early hours of the morning "Kick-Starter" coffee donated to the drivers and helpers by Mansfield Coffee Merchant! We are planning on more runs in the forthcoming weeks so further donations of hay and/or straw would be so gratefully appreciated. Donations can also be made to the VFF.
