20.01.2022 The Solitary Sessions with Connie Kis - Episode 5 (BY REQUEST) 'ANGELS ALL AROUND US' plus 'UNCLOUDED DAY'. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!... In this episode, I talk about the back stories behind these songs. 'Angels All Around Us' is a song I co-wrote with the beautiful and talented Deborah Allen and one which recently charted for me. It is from my album; CONNIE KIS I also played UNCOUDED DAY from my Gospel Album; 'A CLOSER WALK'. The song was written by Josiah Kelley Alwood in 1879 and I recorded it on my album in a bluegrass style. I believe I also told you a 'furphy' and mentioned the wrong year. :-( Even though these clips are recorded in one take (warts and all), I don't, (haven't learned to) go live on Facebook. I hope to use the clips in a future project, hence the reason for pre-recording. THANK YOU every one who took time out to view my previous clip/s.
