04.01.2022 WARNING, LONG ASS POST!!!!! I wasn't going to post this one here, but I figure it's something people should hear. . When gyms reopened after Melbourne's first lockdown, I went a joined @fitbasecranbourne and spent pretty much every day there in those 2 weeks, despite the struggle on leg day getting down 2 flights of stairs.... . When lockdown 2 hit, I lost all motivation. Everything went out the window. And today was the first time stepping back into the gym, even though they have been open around 3 or 4 weeks. . I'm by far not happy with where my physique is, and I let that get me down. But then I remember where I was, and I see just how far I have come. . No matter where you are on your journey, don't let the fact your not where you want to be get you down. No matter who you are, there is someone watching you, wishing they were at the same point as you, wishing they had the same drive, motivation and determination as you. Someone wanting your body, despite you not liking your own body. . Every time you step into a gym, appreciate that your making progress to who you want to be, but focus on you, not the girl over there with the tiny waist, or the guy benching 150kg. If you can't do CHIN Ups, and using a band isn't always an option, starting from the top and controlling yourself down is a good way to build up to it. Still working the same muscles but lengthening them instead of Contracting them, which tends to be eaiser.
