15.01.2022 Something I am getting more and more passionate about as I hear from clients how recklessly GPs prescribe mental health drugs. Please note this 1) There is NO, NO research that shows that long term medication for mental health issues have better outcomes than not being on medication. 2) These drugs can be highly addictive, increase suicidal tendencies, have side effects that no one tells you about and you need to be closely monitored during changes to dosage and be in connection with a therapist/counsellor/psychologist while taking such drugs. 3) These drugs are only for a short-term intervention, 3-6 months and done in conjunction with mental health clinicians. PLEASE watch and share this vid if you or anyone you know is on such medication or considering such medication. https://youtu.be/QeT_9F2oilk
