11.01.2022 What and Amazing Hour of Power last night. We prayed, we prophesied and we basked in the presence of God. For those who couldn’t make it our next one will be Wednesday 23rd September 2020. Today is the start of our seasonal prayer and fast and Ps Tana our Prayer Pastor had the below to encourage us with. In 2Kings 19:30 NLT we read: And you who are left in Judah, who have escaped the ravages of the siege, will put roots down in your own soil and will grow up and flourish.... Or in everyday English: Once more a remnant of the kingdom of Judah will take root downward and bear fruit upward. What arrested my heart in this scripture is the sequence of things happening: Take root downward Bear fruit upward It also says: who have escaped the ravages of the siege So even though we’re just coming through a brutal season (which may well feel like a siege), God’s promise is that if we are planted in Him, rooted in Him, we will grow up and flourish, and we can look forward to a season of new growth and bearing fruit. I pray that your roots were nourished and watered during this winter season, growing deeper into Him so that we can look forward to a season of bearing fruit together. Let’s pray together church! A big thank you to Ps Sarah and her Team of C3 Cares Volunteers who despite Covid-19 have been able to continue being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Below is a testimony of one of those we have been able to help. C3 cares church continues to support myself and others through time, with many people feeling the effects of COVID-19, they have been kind enough to continue their fortnightly grocer...y essentials hampers offering a collection pick up point at one of their church locations or even delivery if you are a vulnerable person currently. This has really helped me and my family as I had been stood down from my workplace due to the pandemic and down turn of the economy. Overall my experience with C3 cares church has really been a positive one and they helped me through a tough time in my life and continue to support me and my family.
