24.01.2022 Understanding mindfulness is about knowing how to enjoy every moment of the day as it happens. When we learn to live in the moment, we worry less about the future. 21.01.2022 For years I struggled with who I really was. I was taught that I was here to serve others, which I still believe is the case. However, in the past I did this to the detriment of myself. Everyone came first, Partner, children (I have 5), work, etc. I didn’t understand that to do a great job at any of these I had to put myself first. As a single Mum I found it hard to do anything other than focus on my children and build a career for myself. I constantly felt burnt out. I lacke...d energy, I lacked self-worth. I hung out with other single Mums who hit the clubs on the weekend. I didn’t enjoy it and it just led to further burn out. I wasn’t living my life, I was living a life dictated to by others. I realised that the people in my life where not the people I wanted to be with, I had gotten myself into a toxic environment that wasn't congruent with who I really was and what I wanted from life. I stopped going to the clubs, I started a business and eventually met a wonderful man. Life was beginning to change slowly. I started to work out who I really was and more importantly who I was here to serve. So here I am living by the beach with a wonderful man and my youngest daughter, Now, a grandmother of 6 amazing children, loving life, still working on myself, but knowing that if I don’t take care of me then I can’t take care of others. I now work with women teaching them how to take care of themselves whilst still taking care of others. 21.01.2022 Recently I felt called to study the art of mindfulness. It has been an amazing journey for me and I am feeling more at peace with myself. This is something that I realise will be ongoing for many years. It is a lifestyle that I believe we can all benefit from. It has supported me in all areas of my life and I am now a much calmer person and am able to go about my day feeling much less stressed. It has been an amazing journey for me and I would love to share it with you. With this in mind I have put together a free course which I will run in my Facebook group next week. 21.01.2022 Take time out this weekend to have fun. Today is about back to school shopping, but tomorrow is about family. BBQ lunch with my brother, a relaxing day so I can get back to work next week feeling refreshed. What are you doing this weekend? Be amazing

16.01.2022 We all have so much love to give, yet we tend to hold back as we have been hurt in the past. We hang on to the resentment we feel for others and carry it around for years. Unfortunately the only thing it does is harm ourselves. Let go of any resentment you carry for another person, forgive them for the wrong they have done and feel the load that you have been carrying lift. Elizabeth was living in a situation where there were certain expectations and she found them too hard to bear. She just wasn't happy. So she set on a journey of self-discovery. Most of us go through this at some time in our lives, and these journeys take different forms, however the search is always the same. 12.01.2022 When we are very young, we lived a life without limits, we felt indestructible, we knew that we could achieve anything we set our minds too and we usually did. As we got older we lost that level of determination. The people close to us told us that we couldn't do it! Or they suggested we have a plan B in case Plan A doesn't work. Today I want you to forget about Plan B. It doesn't exist. The only thing in your future is plan A. Focus on it and bring it into your reality. Work hard, focus and make it happen. Be amazingx

08.01.2022 #dailyteaching #triumphant This is the end of a very trying week, I feel like I have absorbed the issues of others. I have been confronted with anger, which has nothing to do with me, but instead of just allowing this person to have their say, I took it on board, needless to say I was left feeling very drained.... This morning I have spent some time thinking about what I did to absorb this persons anger, and why the anger was present in the first place. My desidion has been that while I have spent a lot of time with this person and supported her through an extremely difficult time, I sadly need to move away for my own well being. Taking care of ourselves is paramount and at the moment with so much uncertainty around us and living not knowing what may happen tomorrow as we face challenges with our movements restricted, who we can see being restricted by border closures, we must make ourselves a priority. Take time every day to check in with yourself and if something doesn't feel right take the action which is right for you. Be amazing Deb

07.01.2022 Make a decision today that you are going to do the things that you love in life, your focus is going to be on what you love to do. As you change your focus you will find that the things that come into your life will change. Look for the good in every situation. Don't get angry with people who upset you, just realise that they view the world in a different way, and allow them that, the issues are theirs, not yours. Turn your focus to what you love and enjoy your day. Be amazingx

Every situation given to us is given for a reason, so allow yourself the emotions that go with it, and then look at what you can learn, and how you can grow from it.
