25.01.2022 The day continues with NAIDOC week celebrations with Anglicare. Smoking ceremony and lots of education given about plants and local indigenous culture.

20.01.2022 What’s the view from your window? Sometimes we forget to look. Psalm 19:1 states The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Maybe a look out of your window will encourage you for the day ahead. A look out the church window is a reminder of God’s goodness.

20.01.2022 We stopped after our first service to put a beautiful new rose in the garden. It was in special memory of Clive Moorehead. A unique man who was treasured in our church family. The rose will hereafter be known as the Clive rose.Thanks to Jessica who cut the rose from Clive's garden several years ago and John and George for preparing the grounds and climbing frame.

19.01.2022 Big day in the parish... To start... AMUA final meeting for the year. Three more prayer shawls blessed by Father Bob. Then one was given to our wonderful Joan. Just perfect.

13.01.2022 Here's an update on our Dot. She now lives in a nursing home at Murgon and has had at least two visits from parishioners of St. Laurence's. Of course who wouldn't travel 100s of Kms to visit Dot? As you can see Julie enjoyed her recent visit. Dot is doing just fine.

11.01.2022 The baptism ministry returns today. Thankfully I remembered what to do. Beautiful Ava Rose was baptised as her loving family watched on. Blessings and prayers to this newly baptised girl.
