18.01.2022 New record set

17.01.2022 Shared from JAD Agriculture Speckle Park X heifers have sold for 347c/kg at Tamworth saleyards this morning. Great to see the market going skyward post-rain, and positivity in the cattle job. How's this for a great comment from the Tamworth Livestock Selling Agents Association Facebook page: "Trying to keep up this morning. If it's not making over 300c/kg this morning it probably won't make the highlights- except made for cows."... #specklepark

13.01.2022 Amy was interviewed before Christmas by The Land journalist, Hannah Powe, who gathered our thoughts for a story she wrote titled, ‘What’s best for you? IVF or c...onventional’. The story also includes comments from our embryo veterinarian, Dr Stuart Geard, of Holbrook Breeders Australia. 12.01.2022 Happy Holidays and Blessings for the New Year

12.01.2022 A focus on improving the marbling and meat quality of their pure Droughtmaster herd is what led the Birchmore family, Winton, to introducing Speckle Park's into their breeding program. A decision which is now paying dividends.

05.01.2022 We invite commercial beef breeders to take part in an initiative we are running to ultimately gather more data about the Speckle Park breed in crossbreeding ope...rations of scale. We will provide free Speckle Park semen from a trait-leading sire, in return for data (weaning weights + feedlot entry weights or kill data). We are looking to partner with operations that plan to AI at least 100 females in the one program, who may be interested in doing this side-by side trial. If you know of anyone who may be interested in this opportunity, please feel free to share this with them. TIA.
