14.01.2022 As any of our long term clients would know, every year we choose a local charity to lend a helping hand to. This year we are proud to support Kids4Kids School Supply Drive and would love your help! We have a donation box in our waiting area ready to accommodate all the love and goodwill our clients always show when we make a call out! ABOUT THE SCHOOL DRIVE... In January 2017, 9-year-old Samuel Glancy realized there was a need to help local school children with School Supplies. He met two boys that had no bed, no food, no Christmas presents and it changed his world & opened his eyes. That first year he started collecting & helping and gathered 4000 school supplies to help two local schools. To date over 70,000 School Supplies have been given to 13 local schools with the wonderful help of the Community. All of the Supplies are given to the Chaplains and Welfare Officers before the start of school term. The School Supplies have made a such difference with reports for chaplains and welfare officers that children feel like they belong, being able to start the school year with their own school supplies. Each year many parents have to call schools to advise their children can't attend as they can't afford the basic supplies they will need. We want to help those families in financial hardship through job losses, illness and more send their kids back to school with pride! HOW CAN YOU HELP We need school supplies, including new and both second hand (in good condition & working) including: - Colour Pencils - Erasers - Scissors - Rulers - Lead Pencils - Back Packs - Ring Binders - Contact - School Labels - Highlighters - Exercise Books - Especially Primary aged - Manilla Folders - Sharpeners - Clip Boards - Pencil Cases - Book Covers - Foolscap Paper - Felt Pens - Black School Shoes - White School Shoes - School Back Packs - Glue Sticks - Biros - Drink bottles - Lunch boxes - School Bags - White Socks
