25.01.2022 It's the end of another year and a big thank you goes out to all our clients, staff and friends for your continued support for what has turned out to be another tremendous year for Cadre Pictures. On behalf of Steven, Ben, Alan and Sigi, we wish you all a joyous Christmas with family and friends, and a safe and relaxing holiday break - if you're lucky enough to have one! 23.01.2022 It's only a few weeks now until the Commonwealth Games get underway on the Gold Coast, and it's also our cue to wrap-up our contribution to the event. We've been involved since April last year in designing and creating various animation and print content through Clemenger BBDO Brisbane. In the process, we hit some pretty remarkable milestones such as: - over 150 unique characters that required concepting, modeling, texturing and rigging,... - over 125 pieces of concept art, - over 200 sculpted facial expressions, - 35 different locations/environments created, - 15 unique vehicles, - over 75 individual fully-cgi high-res prints, - multiple scenes each containing over 100 cgi characters, - 40 seconds of key-framed animation. Now in its 20th year AEAF is an international competition recognising creative and technical excellence in the use of visual effects and animation. 05.01.2022 Our friends at BIG RED invited us to design and model a gingerbread character for Coles to be used for both in-store print displays, as well as bringing him to life in a series of animations as part of the lead up to Coles's Christmas promotions. If you've been to your local Coles in the past month or so then you would have encountered 'Gerry' in some shape or form. Here's an animation of Gerry that appeared on Facebook for Redkite.

01.01.2022 All is not what it seems in this commercial for Mazda CX5. Originally filmed with the current model CX5 in country Victoria, this ad sees a seamless integration of a fully CGI 2017 model CX5, augmented with a New Zealand landscape. A perfect combination.
