This course is aimed at FOH workers looking to expand their toolkit and remain competitive in a shrinking market. The Introduction to Espresso Making workshop teaches, over 4 hours, the basic techniques and recipes needed to prepare espresso coffee. Classes are limited to 2 students per class, to ensure ...plenty of practice time and one to one guidance. With a hands on approach, the following subjects are analyzed and practiced: Dialing the Grind: grams to milliliters. How to Tamp. How to stretch and spilt milk. Basic recipes, hot and cold. That's called the cycle of poverty, and we are here to help them break from it. We are a non for profit training organization that can give your teenagers and young adults the skills, experience and references they need to get into the hospitality industry. Our Cafe "All Rounder" course offers 10 hours of training on the floor ...and the coffee machine, for only $250. Moreover, depending on their performance in the workshop, they could volunteer in our coffee shop.
