17.01.2022 #LAKEMACQUARIE: IMPORTANT UPDATE - NSW Health Media Release We are calling on all eastern Lake Macquarie locals with fever or recent onset respiratory symptoms... to contact their GP, private pathology laboratories, or the free COVID-19 clinics at Belmont or John Hunter hospitals for screening. This advice follows the identification of three COVID-19 cases in eastern Lake Macquarie region with an unknown source of infection. We are focussing on testing residents from Valentine, Belmont, Mt Hutton, Windale and Croudace Bay. The Belmont Hospital Clinic is a drive-through service where people are screened via phone before presenting. For screening, please call 4923 2211 between 8am-4.00pm, seven days a week. The John Hunter Hospital Clinic is currently operating seven days per week, Monday through Sunday, from 8am-10.30pm. Signage at the hospital’s main entrance will direct people to the nearby screening station. We are also operating clinics at Calvary Mater Newcastle, Maitland, and Manning hospitals. Identifying any additional local cases early and implementing appropriate isolation and quarantining is crucial in preventing onward transmission in the community.

17.01.2022 UPDATE: All tests results came back NEGATIVE To all our dear customers, We just wanted to give you an update regarding our post last Sunday. The results came back and all NEGATIVE. ... If you haven't seen the last post here's what happened. Our chef also works at Hotel Jesmond which had positive case customer last Wednesday. We had him to get tested and our staffs for safety precaution even though the chef did not work on the said hotel that day and hasn't been back to that work since then. He had an emergency tooth extraction at the dentist and wasn't able to work for couple of days. Same reason why we were close last week for two days Wednesday and Thursday. Everyone's safety is always our top priority. We are back open tomorrow from 7am now that we are feeling 100% safe. Stay safe everyone, CA

16.01.2022 We are finally re-opening! We are hoping to see you all again soon. We are re-opening on 28 June, Sunday. 8am to 12nn. Café Alejandra is named after our late grandmother/mother, we wanted to always remember her, naming the Café after her just feels like she's always with us, she'll never be forgotten. ... It pronounces A-LE-HAN-DRA.
