23.01.2022 Cafe Barco opened in April 2020, literally during a pandemic, within 3 months its become the go to Café along the Safety Bay Strip. Nives McGavin Robert Mcgavin Basil Paparone and Hisham Humzy the owners, had long established personal and business relationships in our region, so the marketing of the café was a breeze. The café itself is a Rockingham icon and is thought to have been the inspiration of the Home and Away TV series, this could be folklore, but hey were takin...g it. The ladies who run the Café Nives, Jayesh and Mercedes all have a passion for sensational coffee and excellent service. Connecting up with Malibu Fresh Essentials and Pinjarra Bakery cemented the fact that quality produce was being served at Café Barco. With renovations set to take place to upgrade the premises, #CafeBarco will be soon known as a top rated restaurant to dine at in Safety Bay. Opposite the Safety Bay Boat Ramp and on the busy road leading to the Navy Base means we have a ready made clientele for coffee on the go. This is our beginning, our story is just starting.
