24.01.2022 Happiest of birthdays to our Kitchen Supervisor Hayden. Hayden is the youngest member of our team and yet has the drive, passion and work ethic of someone older than his years. He is one of the most patient people I know when training others, has the most fabulous sense of humour and exceptional customer service skills. He works the grill like a demon and shows the fryers whose boss. Needless to say we love Hades and hope he has the most amazing day with his work family. Call in & wish him a Happy Birthday

23.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone!!!! Anyone on campus for 2020 enrolments today & tomorrow, call in & say hi.... We are open from 9am - 1pm serving coffee, cakes, cookies, cold drinks & confectionery.... See you there!!

21.01.2022 We will officially re-open on Tuesday 28th April 2020 between the hours of 8am - 11am. All food will be made to order to eliminate wastage and as such a reduced menu will be displayed in the cafe. This has not yet been finalised but will definitely include our breakfast burgers & hot chips!! With this in mind a wait time of approximately 5 minutes is envisaged however we will do our best to keep this to a minimum. I will be running a skeleton crew so please be patient whi...le we adjust during this time. On Friday of next week we will assess our opening times based on any additional information from TAFE regarding student numbers. We will also remain a cashless venue for the time being. We are looking forward to returning to campus and catching up with everyone. See you next week!!!

21.01.2022 Please be advised of our new opening times effective immediately. Opening 8am until 1.30pm. Kitchen will close at 1pm. Coffee will close at 1.15pm.... Please note we are running a skeleton crew of 3 and ask for your patience. We will be running a reduced menu to assist us and to aid us to reduce our stock on hand in the event of full closure. As we have discovered this week, student numbers are rapidly reducing and we may need to revise our hours further.

18.01.2022 Ok beautiful people, we are back and working hard to give you the freshest variation of food we can. Please remember that we encourage preorders before 9.00am. This reduces the wait times for customers & helps us to be more time efficient during peak times. Preorders are available for pickup without queuing.

As this is a product that is best fresh we will have limited supplies daily. ... Nutella, Caramel, Jam, Lamington & Lemon Curd. $5 each.

They've really looked after me this week following my operation 3 weeks ago and they've pulled together to get things done. It's stressful enough under normal circumstances but this week has been tough, they've had to assist me too!! WELL DONE TEAM DEXTER, YOU ROCK!!!! Also a massive thank you to everyone who has been in this week wishing me well. Your lovely comments have kept me going when it...'s been hard. To know you've been missed is the best feeling and I cherish you all. Call in next week, we've got some new team members to introduce you to & we will be smashing out the specials. 10.01.2022 We at Dexters are committed to meeting all guidelines & precautions for COVID-19 (coronavirus) to ensure the safety & peace of mind to all our customers. WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT We will no longer be accepting re-usable coffee cups until further notice.... Our staff are educated and continuing to take a proactive approach to our cleaning & sanitising procedures which are being strictly followed. We would like to thank you for your understanding in this matter. If you have any issues I would appreciate it if you would speak to either myself or one of our supervisors. My team are following company instructions and do not deserve the sarcasm and disdain that has come their way this morning. 09.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Hope you are having a great weekend relaxing in the beautiful sunshine. Thank you to all who came into the cafe last week, your support really does mean so much to small businesses such as ours. ... It was so nice to be back on campus and we look forward to seeing you all again next week, hopefully with new additions as learning returns more face to face than online. We have an update to our opening hours: Mon-Fri 8am -1.30pm. Our kitchen will close at 1pm and coffee at 1.15pm. However, if we get a day where we are very busy the kitchen will remain open for longer to accommodate our customers. Please note we are still operating on a reduced staff until learning returns to business as usual and we appreciate your ongoing patience. We are working hard to ensure wait times are minimal with freshness & customer service a priority. The menu will still be reduced but we think we have the favourites covered!! Please also note that we are still a NO CASH venue and will be for the forseeable future. We will have a few specials in the fridge next week also, be sure to check them out!!

05.01.2022 To our amazing customers..... Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused today due to the breakdown of our coffee machine. I know how you all rely on us to keep you going around the 10am mark!! We will be business as usual next Thursday & Friday for the 2nd round of enrolments as the machine has now been repaired. 04.01.2022 Due to there being no face to face training from tomorrow morning the cafe will be closed from 10am Monday 30th March 2020 until further notice. Cakes, confectionary & hot drinks will be the only items served between 8-10am while we prepare to close. Thank you all for your support, we look forward to being able to see you all again soon.

02.01.2022 Dear Customers, Please be advised that as of tomorrow Dexters will become a takeaway only venue. We will no longer be providing seating in the food service side of the building. Limited seating will be available in the student area & outdoors. At the end of the week we will also become a cashless venue. 01.01.2022 It’s all about the salads this week!!!! Beautiful followers it’s our final week of term for another year. If there are items missing from our fridges & warmers, drinks or otherwise, it’s because we are getting ready to close for the summer holidays. 7 glorious weeks..... Any wraps, rolls, sandwiches & toasted sandwiches can be made to order, ingredients willing!! Wishing you students a fabulous last week of term!!
