20.01.2022 HELP - Without our small producers.....Victoria and it’s restaurants take on a whole new identity. Homogeneous, corporate and soulless... Individual talents ...our farmers and producers - their blood sweat and tears- cast to the wind. At the eleventh hour today - in their continued (lack of) wisdom the Victorian Government cancelled Farmers Markets. Incredulous Disgusted ... Demoralised Fearful - Even today - in the rain farmers were preparing homegrown wares, that now have now where to go - left to rot like so many people in these awful times. Why can we go to Coles, and not a local fresh air market??? 02.01.2022 We are incredibly amazed and so very thankful for the huge outpouring of - good wishes, support, thanks, congratulations, ... suggestions, requests, 8 page letters of notes, messages of what can we do, And your stories of hardship, loss and survival...... So many people reaching out in the last 48 hours - our tired heads and heavy hearts are literally reeling.... Hundreds of really comprehensive, intelligent, desperate, emails from our peers and people who want and are ready to take action, from all over the country. We just need to try and harness that positive energy. Despite the headlines and the media grabs - this is not really about politics....well a little bit, it is more about the personal plight of so many millions of people, and the future.
