We offer full table service to avoid queuing around the counter. Please read all signs. 21.01.2022 F A T H E R ‘ S D A Y Due to covid and limited seatings we got some tips to book a table for Father’s Day 1. It’s ok to celebrate ahead! Book in on Friday or Saturday if there is no more space on Sunday ... 2. We highly recommend ordering takeaway for large bookings - Order a takeaway and celebrate at home or at the park. Large orders please call in advance. 3. During Sunday lunch service all tables of four and over over will be required to order from set menu. (Set menu is available for takeaway / vegan option available please preorder) Children and special dietary requirements can order ala carte. See more

20.01.2022 We did it! No. 1 Vietnamese restaurant in Brisbane. We understand this interpretation of the best Vietnamese food is different for everyone. Some of us love clean flavours and others may prefer a deeper punch of flavours from msg. Theres no right or wrong it’s just a personal preference. As Vietnamese people, we are generally biased as we believe our mothers food is the best. From day one when creating the menu at Omai - We have stuck with what we know and what we find comforting. 11.01.2022 We want to provide you a great dining experience during this ever changing climate however there has been some customers that have not been cooperating on the same page. Our front entrance provides you with all the covid safe information - all this information seems overwhelming however we need you to read this prior to entering our venue. There is NO table menus - take a photo of our menu or use your phone to open menu on our website. We offer FULL TABLE SERVICE to avoi...d congestion around the counter. We need EVERYONE to sign in - time in and time out is crucial. Our TAKEAWAY ENTRANCE is for takeaway and paying for takeaway orders ONLY - for dine in you must use the main entrance. It’s not fair for others already waiting in queue to dine in. Using the main entrance gives you all the covid information to check in and again you get the whole scope of our venue. Again yes I sound like a school teacher! There are heavy fines for non compliance. If you want your favourite local venues to stick around please help us cooperate with these rules. 06.01.2022 Today marks the first day we first opened our little cute corner cafe! 8 years ago I was literally packing shit trying to get ready to open cafe O-mai and making it perfect. I wasn’t entirely ready but my mum Kim said you will never be fully ready and it doesn’t matter if it’s not perfect - we just gotta set the date and open! I really didn’t know what to expect and was truly amazed by the local support and response to our food and hospitality. ... 8 years in the hospo world equates to 76 dog years.... it’s a wonderful and epic achievement we got here! Thank you for trusting us, loving us, spreading our name to your friends and supporting us for the last 8 years. We have build abundance, friendship and teaching you more about the love for food!
