02.01.2022 Renovations complete. Looking Awesome

02.01.2022 The Café on Elizabeth and Kitchen with a Mission programme have been a part of the Launceston Salvation Army missional focus. However over this financial year, Cafe on Elizabeth has been trading at a considerable loss. Regrettably, this has led to us accepting a directive to close Cafe on Elizabeth at this present point in time. This is not a decision that has been taken lightly and even as of late last week every effort was sought to secure funding from an external source. T...he leadership team of The Launceston Salvation Army share with you in the disappointment this announcement brings. We would like to express thanks to our loyal customers for their patronage and hope to welcome you back in the near future. We understand the strong part the Cafe plays in our mission, in serving needs across our church activities, and the welcoming and inviting place it has provided to share together over a meal. Café on Elizabeth will trade up to and including Friday 28 October, when it will cease operation in its current format. Going forward, it is hoped that the Café will be reopened but it will need to be under a different model so as not to put a strain on the Church finances. The leadership of the Church, in conjunction with Headquarters, will work to find a model that will allow the Café to operate and still provide missional opportunities. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Karen, Selina and staff for their dedication and work and wish them all the best for the future. The Launceston Salvation Army will maintain ownership of the Café and its equipment. Our building will remain available for venue hire, including catering. Please contact the office for availability. Any future developments will be announced on this Facebook page and emailed directly to invested parties and members, so please continue to follow us.

01.01.2022 It starts tomorrow. Come down for breaky or brunch
