19.01.2022 Hot News Off The Press For FTP's New Sprintcars 2 Book: He is the most talented, fearsome and, without a doubt, one of the most popular sprintcar drivers we have ever produced Down Under, and on the eve of the running of the 2019 NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals, we can announce that Garry Brazier, a six-times Australian Sprintcar Champion, will be joining our line-up of James McFadden, and Danny Smith in contributing a Foreword for our new, stunning, 228-page 'Sprintcars... 2' publication. With an Afterword by Robert Farr, and stories by Geoff Rounds and Brett Swanson, 'Sprintcars 2', is set to be one of the most lavish and exciting speedway/motor sport books ever published, and Andrew Green and I are very proud to have these sprintcar greats alongside us. There is also one more big name sprintcar mike man coming on board, but that is something we will announce very soon. So with that great news, make sure you get in early to pre-order your copy of 'Sprintcars 2' now. They are only available in limited numbers, so get in fast! 17.01.2022 Hats Off To Robert Farr: Credit where credit is due. The recent press release outlining the changes to Robert Farr's sprintcar/speedway career was a breath of fresh air. For me, it was one of the better releases I have read, but sadly, it came as no surprise during these uncertain times we are now facing re COVOID-19.... Regardless of the current position of the 'Made to Go promotion' and their future in the sport, Robert Farr has been one of their real success stories. In every way... Sure, like any racer, he has weathered criticisms on the track over the years, but right up to the end of last season, he remained fast and very, very competitive. Top five in my opinion. And the respect among his peers was pretty much absolute. An honest to goodness racer, the second-generation sprintcar steerer, and former Australian Sprintcar/Speedcar and Classic Champion, remains one of our finest racers of all time. Disappointingly however, as soon as the release was published on social media, immediately people were naming replacements - who says the Waldrons are even looking at that scenario? Personally I found that a little disrespectful to be honest, considering all this champion racer has done for the sport and for the car owners. Whether Robert gains another ride, or chooses to sit it out, for me - and thousands of others I am sure - his time in the sport has been nothing short of inspirational, particularly to any young racer coming through the ranks who wants to model a career on sheer determination, race prowess and popularity within the sport's fan base. And that is, ultimately, something every champion driver or rider hopes to be remembered by. I do hope that Robert continues racing - when it continues - but either way, it has been a privilege watching him do what he does best on the race track. Tony Loxley

17.01.2022 Seven of Garry's Best: Okay, who out there is a one hundred percent, die-hard Garry Rush fan? Yep, I can hear you know - and that's pretty loud! Well, with permission of the great racer himself, and in conjunction with Industrial Artist and speedway fan Tim Rugendyke, and Full Throttle Publishing, we are proud to announce that in the coming weeks we will be releasing a stunning Garry Rush 'Seven Of His Best' poster illustrating a selection of Garry's top sprintcars driven dur...ing a career that rivals most race car drivers on earth. To whet your appetite, we have attached an earlier version of our original poster which, as you can see, is missing the attached image of Garry's Winfield Gambler (the version we posted was our first thought - six of his best), but we decided including the iconic Winfield Australia #1 was too good to miss. There fore, we are now finalising 'Seven of Garry's best!' The poster will be printed on high-quality, acid-free, heavy duty paper stock utilising non-fading ink, and will be around 36 x 22 inches (not yet confirmed). This poster, limited to 100 copies only, will retail for $69.95 - plus postage. We are also looking into the viability of doing bar mats for that 'man cave' of yours, and will have more information on that very soon. Either way, we believe this limited edition poster illustrating seven of Garry's greatest sprintcars, is something that every speedway or motor sport fan would be proud to own. Stay tuned next week for all the information relating to purchasing this stunning Garry Rush tribute poster, and other artworks coming covering speedcar/midget racing in Australia, and the awesome Grand National sedans of the '70s and early '80s. And yes, we are looking at doing solo and sidecars stars, too. Once again, we hear at Full Throttle Publishing are proud to release these unique posters for fans across the world, and will continue to support OUR sport with stunning motor sport publications into the future. Thanks again to our valuable sponsors and supporters (we can't do what we do without you on board), and you, the fans, for loving what we do. Oh, nearly forget, click onto our website below and check out our lavish books and other items for sale! www.fullthrottlepublishing.com.au Tony Loxley.

17.01.2022 Think Eliminator Race Wings when you need that new top wing!

09.01.2022 Daniel Sayre Turns It On To Claim His First A-Main at Sydney Speedway: There was no Dumesny - none of them in fact - no Farr, Ferguson, Delamont, Walsh and many others who are regulars in the sprintcar division at Sydney Speedway, but there were 38 other enthusiastic drivers and their teams who gave it their all in tough weather conditions, and before a good crowd for the running of the annual Lord Mayor's Cup. Sayre claimed a tough, hard-fought win to beat home Alex Orr and ...Matt Geering, all of whom were thoroughly exhausted after the exciting Aussie Forklift Repairs 30-lapper. But more importantly, the three major place finishers come from decent, and highly supportive families, and it shows in the way all three young men presented themselves to fans after the event. And as far as my little girl Liani was concerned, she has a new hero in Ashley Jack, who according to Liani (10 years-old) is going to be one of the world's best! However, this young lady showed some real speed and I am sure will get stuck in in the years to come. Only eight speedcars fronted for the first night of the season (many are waiting for parts etc) and it was Matt Jackson who had an easy win in the lap-reduced A-Main. Nathan Disney took out the late model A-Main, again short in numbers, but not in action. The weather, which has played havoc all week in Sydney, didn't ease up and the real threat of storms forced the promotion to shift the program around, but in the end the rain held off and a good night was had by all - although I am sure Barry Waldron has a few more worry lines after taking on the weather Gods all week. So there you go. Three deserving young sprintcar drivers and their families get to enjoy the limelight, and veteran sprintcar racer Michael Rowell - who hit the go pedal pretty hard tonight - got to go to bed early and rest his weary bones as the show finished at - wait for it - at 7.25 pm. See you at the track soon race fans. Enjoy the images. A bit rusty after a while away from the lens. All images are strictly copyright: Anthony Loxley/Full Throttle Publishing.
