24.01.2022 Quick fit up of this recreational X3 cage before it goes off to powdercoat. This cage is a bit lower than our normal race cage but still has the new race style spare tyre mount. 22.01.2022 Since it would have been Tatts Finke Desert Race this weekend, we thought we would dig out some old photos from Cagetec Racing's 2 attempts at Australia's Greatest Desert Race. In 2006 Frank and Justine Galea tackled the event in a Class 7 Toyota Landcruiser 80 Series, finishing the event 2nd in class. 9 Years later Jason Galea and Markus Christie race in the 40th Finke Desert Race, also finishing 2nd in Production 4wd

Cagetec Racing had a successful 2020 campaign with 2 second in class placings and a 1st in class at Three Springs with a best of 3rd outright making for a great end to the COVID interrupted season. The X3 is off to some new owners but will be staying in WA. 13.01.2022 We know its a little late (our driver and navi decided to get married). But here is our 2020 Kalgoorlie Desert Race recap video. The final round of the 2020 Western Australian Off Road Racing Championship was an absolute belter. Once again thanks to Penrite Oil and Maglock-Australia for their support in 2020 and also shoutout to Bobby from Lensnation Studio who provided some extra angles for the video. This car certainly brightened up our interrupted 2020 season and we are going to miss it. In 3 races, we secured a first and 2 second place finishes in class, with a worst outright position of 6th!
