25.01.2022 Gawler races today and the first start for our littlest girl in the stable Alotafun, (Pippa, (nicknamed this coz she’s a pipsqueek) and she nailed it with a WIN Could not be more proud of her, she has no idea how little she is, and doesn’t care! She just wants to be a racehorse She switched onto her job very quickly and we cannot wait to see what else she does.

25.01.2022 Beach morning for Dexter, Scoota and Rocky

25.01.2022 One of the hardest things in the racing industry finding appropriate and experienced homes for our beloved racehorses when they are finished racing Our beautiful natured Aylin (Ally) has struggled to find her fast legs and on Wednesday she gave us the final nod I don’t want to be a racehorse she simply doesn’t have the heart for it. One way or another they will let you know if they don’t want to do it. We have been lucky to find her a home already, the quickest I have ever found a home for a horse. Ally is going to be a superstar eventer in her new life with Zoe Caitlyn Schoell

25.01.2022 Belated post for our boy Soxy who ran at Gawler Friday Sux being you Shayne Cahill having to strap your own horse Soxy didn’t love the track finishing in a close line up of the minors beaten 1.9L

24.01.2022 Raise An Army had his first start with us today at Morphetville and he was such a professional good boy. This boy came to us all the way from Rockhampton, so today racing the opposite for him and despite the troubled run he couldn’t get, we were happy with him. As 1200m was always a starting point, we are looking forward to a bit further next run. ... Chief companion pony Quinny his best friend today

24.01.2022 This guy our Bullpoint boy so dopey and so loveable.....most of the time loves to be loved

24.01.2022 Our most handsome boy Rocky (Comfort Man) at Strathalbyn today, he ran ok but our one paced man found himself beaten 3.6L in big field. We still absolutely adore him, he is an absolute gentleman

23.01.2022 Lucky to get a little help this morning at home from Ryan Hurdle, hopefully his experience of the open track and no rails didn’t put him off from coming again Thanks Ryan look forward to seeing you here in Ashbourne again From left to right Caitlin Tootell on Turf Tapper (Brian) Ryan on Miss Catastrophi (Ollie) and Shaynes riding Pilots Boulevard (Chester)

15.01.2022 So Saturdays races were today at Morphetville due to the TAB having issues Raise An Army (Army) made the trip again and a hotter day for all the horses than on Saturday Our boy found himself 4th in the end and we think this old boy could have a few tricks up his sleeve with a light weight on him

And Comfort Man was a lead up to further distance Considering the very hot long day and the long drive in the truck everyone did well for their first runs of their prep See more

14.01.2022 Enjoying the sunny morning...and a hose down after work Dexter and Scoota

14.01.2022 A very personal appreciation post from me Chelsea I wanted to say a huge congratulations to Boof Smith with his win with General Mint at Morphetville yesterday Winning isn’t always about the punting and form and I think the media sometimes forget this and need to celebrate the trainers who like Boof, training their horses for the pure love of it. ... Boof and his family have been a huge part of my life especially his parents Bob and Bardy, they helped me in the most difficult time and Bardy especially was a enormous influence. Never a more deserving win for a humble man Well done Boof Smith hope the General puts you in the winner’s circle again!!!

13.01.2022 Happiness with our 2nd, 3rd and 4th from our three runners at Morphetville today Raise An Army went down by 0.9L ran a super race coming 2nd, an honest run Two Odd Sox, this little guy has such heart, thrown into a 100k race today and ran super to get third, always so close, beaten 0.9L ... And last but not least good old Brian, Turf Tapper ran well, the old boy in the city!!He came 4th, if he didn’t hang and actually went straight he would’ve got closer

13.01.2022 Miss Sassy Maneuver just before her race yesterday at Naracoorte races Our girl came third beaten 1.4L Feeling nice and relaxed pre race

13.01.2022 Shaynes got a favourite...The big Rig (Hello Ladies) resuming from his spell

13.01.2022 Penola today with four runners A nearly there kinda day, started with Gatsbys Girl and her frustrating run leaving her 2nd beaten 0.2L this little girl deserves a win after overcoming many issues to get to the races Grimesy is a highlight simply because he didn’t buck and I’d say Karl was pretty happy about that! He came 3rd beaten 1.5L ... Scoota needs a longer race but he probably doesn’t care coz he makes friends and gets attention no matter where he finishes but he was 4th beaten 1.9L And last but not least my little Ollie Miss Catastrophi got hip and shoulders down the straight but ended up only beaten 1L for a fourth Thank you to Caitlin Tootell and Jason Jarman For today, long trips and days aren’t easy but we couldn’t do it without you

09.01.2022 Beautiful perfect weather day at Balaklava today... our star for today was non other than Brian/Turf Tapper He may not have won but third for the old boy was pretty good considering he did himself over by laying out silly old fella, only beaten 1.6L Sassy Maneuver, miss Milly not sure what to think, but probably just too sharp for our girl And handsome big Leorbit said no to backing up after Saturday

09.01.2022 Two days of racing Murray Bridge and Gawler with 7 runners No wins but a third, fourth and two fifths Some good runs, fierce runs...guess who? A first run and some ordinary runs Not a great deal of luck but everyone got around safe and pulled up well #thatsracing

02.01.2022 Morphetville with three runners.... Dexter You Devil, Call Me Archer and Icecrusher (Issy) Our day started pretty crap with a broken axel on the float and set the form for the rest of our day... Dexter ran ordinary, clearly a punter was unhappy with him Archer was fierce to begin and still learning beaten 2.8L against the older horses ... Issy well she bombed the start and landed in a hole, what else can you say! Not to worry racing is up and down, it’s simply hard! See more

02.01.2022 Archer and Morty this morning at Royal Strathalbyn

02.01.2022 Strathalbyn jump outs this morning Our cutest little horse in the stable is young Pippa She now has an official name Alotafun She’s a cracker got the best attitude and did a great job this morning She is in barrier two with the light blue colours ... #valentia Thank you Renae Kent for the behind the scenes photos See more

02.01.2022 Due to the COVID lockdown Racing was at Morphetville today which was actually Saturdays meeting playing catch up And....The Big Rig aka Rigby as we call him and officially Hello Ladies is his name, made his debut having his first run We bought Rigby as a weanling, Shayne broke him in and he is undoubtedly one of Shaynes absolute favourites... He has such a great personality and he thinks he is shit hot!! But we love him and think he is very cool, although being thrown in the deep end at 1250m first start he ran well and was only beaten 1.6L Cannot wait to take him to the races again! He was such a professional boy today, taking it all in his stride, so proud of you Rigers!!!

01.01.2022 Strathalbyn jump outs this morning!!

01.01.2022 Strathalbyn jump outs How do you get Caitlin Tootell to have the biggest grin ever.....let her ride her most favourite horse in a jump out.... Dexter You Devil And little Pippa (Alotafun) also had a jump out going super! And our girl Annie had an experience day out

01.01.2022 Murray Bridge for a Saturday meeting we had Point Blaze (Zoe) and Morty Zoe ran fair, but perhaps a bit too far for this little girl, she’s still learning and with the widest barrier didn’t help her cause. Morty, our boy we hold our breath every time you step on the track after coming back from your awful injury we think your a star anyway, even to be at the races, ... so today you pulled off a third for only your third run, super happy with you, beaten 1.4L from the winner See more
