25.01.2022 Many many thanks to those who donated at the appeal of Cairns Bhutanese Community Inc. As Bhagawat Geeta teaches we serve without expecting any return. But we greatly reward ourselves with an impact our little help can make in the life of these cute angels. Thank you Parsuram Sharma-Luital JP and all other friends for handing over our small donation to the Children First Foundation on our behalf. We just learnt that the surgery has been postponed for a fortnight due to one of the conjoined twins, i.e. Dawa's health conditions. We keep the twins in our prayers and thoughts for Dawa's recovery at the earliest and may the operation happen at the earliest convenience.

He passed away at the age of 29 Prakash Tamang was born in Samchi Nainatal Bhutan. He spent his childhood 20 years in Beldangi Camp in Nepal. CBC, would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, friends, and relatives; and pray for his departed soul to rest in peace. Funded by Queensland government, organised by Cairns Bhutanese Magar Samaj and Cairns Bhutanese Community Inc. The Bhutanese and Nepalese community members of Cairns and those interested in learning their culture are warmly invited. Experience traditional cuisine and cultural performance from beyond the borders of just Nepal or Bhutan! It's a free event and we really appreciate if yo wear your cultural dresses. We also appreciate confirmation of attendance for catering purpose.

He passed away at the age of 85 years. member Chandra Lal Sanyasi was born in Chirang, Bhutan. He lived in Pathari Camp in Nepal for several years before moving to Australia. He has 3 sons, 2 daughters and 13 grandchildren. He served in Bhutan Police for 25 years.
