19.01.2022 *** INFORMATION ON PRIVATE LESSONS *** The below advice comes directly from a request made by ADQ Executive Director, Julie Englefield regarding studios being a...ble to undertake private lessons to Queensland Health: "Queensland Health appreciates your concern for our Queensland community as we all respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. As I am sure you can appreciate this is a fast-paced situation and Queensland Health is actively managing the frontline actions required to prepare and protect the community from novel coronavirus (COVID-19). As per the non-essential business, activity and undertaking Closure Direction (No.6) you are not able to undertake any classes or private tuition in the studio as indoor sporting centers are not permitted to be open. You could however provide one on one dance tuition outside, on a one on one basis, with social distancing observed as this would be permitted under personal training." Queenslanders will be able to undertake unlimited travel, ...including overnight stays throughout the entire state, in a major easing of COVID-19 restrictions. More locals will be allowed in cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs, with an increase in the number of patrons from 10 to 20. From noon on Friday, June 5, venues with more space will be allowed up to 20 people in each defined area if they follow an approved COVID Safe Industry Plan. Well done, Queensland. Our state’s outstanding response to the COVID-19 pandemic has allowed restrictions to be lifted ahead of a planned move to Stage Two originally scheduled for June 12.
