Aussies are notorious for our sense of humour (as dry and inappropriate as it sometimes is ). This means that we are facing a lot of information, and some of it conflicting, but deep down we are taking this seriously. The faces below are us, your local Cairns Watercraft family. We are real people - although it's not our usual style to put ourselves in t...he lime light. We have serviced this region for more than 11 years. We are still here because we care about your watercraft and we do our best always to get it right. We think we do a pretty good job - we wouldn't still be here if we didn't. The fact is, many small businesses, ours included, are average "mum and dad businesses". We still have bills to pay - both home and business, school fees, sport subs and the usual financial commitments. We have employees who need to be paid wages, and while we personally can manage with no wages for a short while, our staff can't, and they will always be our priority. Where you, our loyal followers can help us, and small business in general, is to support local and please be organised. The reality is that many of you will take your boats and skis out over the coming weeks and they may not have been looked at for a while, which puts you at risk of mechanical breakdowns and large repair bills. At the present time we have the capacity to look over your craft, be it small or large and ensure that it is ready to go when you are. We are taking extra measures to ensure we comply with government directives and "social distancing". Our workshop is usually clean and tidy, we are ramping up these efforts to ensure the highest level of hygeine possible that a workshop can provide. Every ski and craft is returned cleaned, our staff are regularly washing hands and sanitizing. We expect our staff to stay home when they are sick. Essentially it is business as usual for this team (like other small business). We are taking these uncertain times seriously and will adopt all recommendations to ensure the safety and well being of our staff and clients. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about our processes or the stance that we have adopted. And finally, please don't leave it until the last minute to get your watercraft checked/serviced/"fixed" becuase waiting is the last thing you want to be doing and we like to ensure we can take care of you all right when you need us (preferably before ) From Bren, Andrea, kidlets, and the team at Cairns Watercraft

02.01.2022 This iconic large Superyacht is seeking two permanent deckhands preferably with previous experience on large yachts who is able to work with minimal supervision... in order to maintain the very high standards onboard this vessel. Currently in the Med, we are looking for a fit and healthy male (due to cabin arrangements) to join the large deck team and assist in all areas. Tender driving experience would be advantageous and any additional qualifications such as diving and other watersports would be a benefit.
