21.01.2022 Tomorrow we will be heading down to Yorkeys Knob to send a message to our government that we need a Clean Recovery!!

20.01.2022 Big for the bird dogging crew today We tried to ask Scott Morrison to invest in renewables, not dirty gas but he made his contempt for the future of FNQ, our reef and young people clear by ignoring us QLD LNP Candidates Linda Cooper - LNP for Barron River and Sam Marino - LNP for Cairns got the chance to talk to Scott Morrison. They both say they support investment in renewables and we hope they advocated for FNQ's potential as a clean energy hub

19.01.2022 A #RenewableRecovery is just what we need if we want a liveable climate and #qldjobs we can be proud of. We're so grateful to Craig Crawford MP for his support for a #RenewableRecovery and we now call on all parties to make a $2bn investment in publicly owned renewables a part of their election platform. Tune into the news at 6 for our interviews & more shots from the press conference!... Australian Youth Climate Coalition Queensland - AYCC QLD Australian Youth Climate Coalition

19.01.2022 Linda Cooper - LNP for Barron River Candidate for Barron River, is telling Cairns that she cares about the environment and climate. However, the LNP's shadow environment Minister, David Crisafulli - Broadwater MP supports an expansion of the destructive gas industry The LNP can't have it both ways, either they care about future generations, the reef and the climate, or they want to sacrifice those things for the sake of their mates in the fossil fuel industry ... Deb Frecklington, this is your chance to show you really care about NQLD - or is your talk about the environment just hot air?... Authorised by Ray Yoshida, 27- 29 Greenslopes St, Edge Hill 4870

13.01.2022 Check out our highlights from the QLD Cabinet visit these past few days! So much work but so fun! We talked to the Premier, met with the Environment Minister and exhibited a public art installation over the three days. From now until the election we'll pile the pressure on the Government, opposition and all parties to rule out destructive gas and invest in a 4 Gw #RenewableRecovery! We'll be starting with Speak Up, our plan to have 30, 000 change-making conversations nationwide! Sign up today! Link in bio

13.01.2022 If you haven't seen this yet - we just won BIG

10.01.2022 Thanks for meeting with us Linda Cooper - LNP for Barron River! We love hearing people from all sides of politics show a passion for protecting our beautiful natural places. Linda didn't commit to a $2bn #RenewableRecovery, but we're keen to continue having discussions on how we can create #qldjobs that power our towns with cheap, clean energy. Our dream is that all sides of politics adopt a $2bn investment in publicly owned renewables as part of their 2020 QLD Election pla...tform Australian Youth Climate Coalition Queensland - AYCC QLD Australian Youth Climate Coalition - AYCC North Queensland

06.01.2022 Come on down and help us send a message to our government that we need a #CleanRecovery

06.01.2022 We confronted Scott Morrison on his plans to invest in destructive gas projects that threaten our reef. Scott Morrison's silence shows loud and clear his disdain for the future of youth and of FNQ. We need a #CleanRecovery- not investment in dirty, outdated fossil fuels like gas!... Thanks Australian Marine Conservation Society volunteers for helping out Authorised by Ray Yoshida, Level 5a, 444 Queen Street, Brisbane City, QLD, 4000

03.01.2022 At the Esplanade this morning making sure Annastacia Palaszczuk MP hears the youth of FNQ loud and clear We were able to talk to the Premier later however we were disappointed that she wouldn't support a 4Gw #RenewableRecovery. With our future at stake we're only going to step up our fight for a #RenewableRecovery ahead of the QLD Election- watch this space!
