01.01.2022 Cairns Cape Express is proudly supporting the inaugural Kapani Cup that is been held in Aurukun on the 12th & 13th of July 2019. Warrriors from Aurukun, Wujal Wujal, Doomadgee & Yarrabah have trained for over 2 years to display their skills, confidence & capabilities in Aurukun - with a focus for a career in the Australian Army. Cairns Cape Express also transported five 1RAR veterans from the Battle of Coral, during the Vietnam War. Merv Wilson, Bryan Meghan, Garry Cairncross, Graham Stevens & Richard Roe all shared their experiences as Infantry Trackers with each Community Team.These brave men are an inspiration to all.
