18.01.2022 We recently took off for a few days to Emu Creek Station with the kids and grandparents in the camper trailer and the oldies in their caravan. We called it a "research expedition". Although there wasn't much water in the creek, the kids caught a couple of fish, had a bit of fun on the kayaks and we all enjoyed meals cooked in the coals. Thanks to station owner Liz for writing out her damper recipe for the kids, so we could enjoy warm damper dripping with syrup when it cooled down at night. 15.01.2022 If there's one item I'm always glad I packed on a camping trip, it's our big mat Made from 100% recycled polypropylene, it's waterproof, stain & mould resistant & has eyelets when you need to secure it on those windy days. The best thing though- I can wash it off in the creek after the kids tear through camp with muddy feet.
