20.01.2022 This is fantastic drone footage showing the transportation of the one of the blades from the largest wind farm in Qld being constructed at Mt Emerald, near Mareeba on the Atherton Tablelands. The haulage of the blades, towers, hubs and generators from the Cairns Port to Mt Emerald will take till April to be completely delivered. The video also shows the Gordonvale area, our beautiful Walsh's Pyramid and breath taking views of where I call home.

20.01.2022 I managed to get this shot of a rainbow in the back yard and only seconds before that, it was a double rainbow and I just missed it. Oh well, that's mother nature for you.

19.01.2022 Here are some glorious photos I took off Clifton Beach, early one morning recently. Heading there again for the New Years Eve fireworks tonight, which will be let off from the pier at Palm Cove jetty. So lucky that we live only 40 mins away!

14.01.2022 Does anyone out there have any paid work available for two lovely 22 year old French girls. They have been staying with us for a few weeks helping me with the B&B and whatever needs doing on our property in exchange for meals and accommodation. They both have working holiday visas, understand and speak English and are experienced cleaners and gardeners. I can thoroughly recommend them as totally trust worthy, hard working, happy and willing to please. Ideally they would need to be accommodated at a workplace as they don't have a vehicle. I just thought I would put it on FB and they have been looking for work for some time and haven't had much luck.

13.01.2022 Came across this 4m python up at Butchers Creek Malanda last week. We had to touch it's tail to get it off the road so we could get by.I was keeping my distance.

12.01.2022 Our Cassowarys are so precious. We are so lucky to have them. Trouble is the roads are so dangerous for them. Lets hope people slow down and heed the signage.

11.01.2022 My son Nolan and his mates went north of Cape Flattery for the May long weekend. These boys really know how to have fun and love exploring their back yard. I think this clip is good enough to go on "Radical Reels". Great job filming Jono and the background music is perfect!!

11.01.2022 If anyone is looking for some cheap hens this is the place to go. They are just 13months old and past their prime egg laying, but I bought some 6 months ago and they're still laying an egg every day. They look a bit on the thin side, but with a little TLC they're filled out and are very tame, healthy and happy.

06.01.2022 This is a great way to get fresh F&V from the farm. (Mareeba) I just picked up a small F&V box for $35 and everything is so fresh. Pick ups are once a fortnight from the Feed Shop in Gordonvale, which makes it so handy. Thanks Michelle for setting this up!
