14.01.2022 10th of May 2019. 2nd lesson Fridays group. The Kindergarten children showed confidence in the water with little assistance from Miss Ruth. During the lesson the children continued with their jelly kicking, rocket ships, bubble blowing, floating, diving to the bottom of the pool, we even had a chance to have a ride on the magic mat. At the end of the lesson the children sung "ring a ring a rosie" then held their breath under water.

12.01.2022 Lately in Junior Kindy we have been exploring dramatic play. To extend on this, we have been dressing up in our monkey suit and started singing 5 little monkeys. The children have been loving dressing up and making a tree for the monkeys to sit in.

It is apart of their breakfast buddies program, that ensure children are eating one of the most important meals of the day. Because of her we can". We had made the design significant to the land we reside on in Far North Queensland. Having the Queensland country imprinted and the animals that originate from this land. The shirt represents and identifies that we pay our respects to the woman that gave us life and th...e land that we walk on. Embedding this into the young generations that we teach and care for at our service. The educators and staff at Cairns Kids share a passion to celebrate Naidoc, We wear these as part of our uniform acknowledging our culture and the culture of families within the service. 05.01.2022 What fun we had today dressing up for Halloween With some yummy spooky treats for afternoon tea.

04.01.2022 Todays future champs lesson. We started our lesson with a few basic rules to follow. The children memorized each rule and were able to tell Miss Eve what they were. The first game we played was stealing the blueberries from the sleeping bear. The children have played this game at each lesson over the past few weeks. The children have become familiar with the rules of the game and are able to play with little to no instructions. ... We also introduced a new game Dodge ball. . A barrier was made using orange cones this was the danger zone the children were not to go past this line, they had to wait until the ball came into their court to be able to have a turn. First Miss Shantel and Miss Eve demonstrated how to dodge the ball. Splitting into teams, the red team and the blue team it was now the childrens turn. The children became competitive, ducking and weaving as the ball came near them.

03.01.2022 Junior Kindy have been busy lately using recycled and natural materials to create a Christmas themed castle. We love using recycled materials to teach the children potential in materials that would usually be thrown away.
