01.01.2022 #thelaundryexpress is all for dredging our inlet to allow larger cruise ships enter our region. This week we had Royal carribean Legends of Seas come to town for 30 hours. I had about 20 passengers from the ship come to use our laundromat, this might not seem like much. But for us, as a small family business, thats 20 customers, an average of $10 per customer, $200 we didnt have before. Ill spend that $200 at other local businesses, not necessarily at a business that is directly effected by cruise ship travelers. We all need to get behind dredging our port and bringing larger ships, more tourists and more $$ to our economy. #saveourport #cairnstourism
