25.01.2022 A few basic 'Be COVID Safe' things you can do at parkrun: Do not become complaisant. Be vigilant and alert at all times - especially in terms of social distancing. Check in using the QR code or URL (we will supply you with this code in due course). Have some hand sanitiser in your car and use it before you get out to join us at parkrun.... 22.01.2022 4 September 2020 Queensland (Qld) In addition to name and email addresses, the Queensland Government currently requires a contact phone number for each participant, volunteer, and spectator, along with the time in / out of the venue, which we are unable to support at this time.

21.01.2022 Following extensive discussions with the Queensland Department of Sport and Recreation, we have approval to reopen all 107 parkrun and junior parkrun events in Queensland on 28 November.

19.01.2022 parkrun in Queensland (Qld), 2 October 2020 Queensland Health has increased participant limits this week to 1000. Following extensive consultation with the Sport and Recreation Department parkrun have now formally submitted their COVID-19 Framework to the Chief Health Officer, Dr. Jeanette Young. Two weeks is the minimum notice parkrun will give to volunteer teams prior to the reopening of events in any state and territory, so please be assured that they will provide confirmation in accordance with this timeframe.
