01.01.2022 Sewing Gypsy Tip - this week Ive been making LOTS of elastic loops - yes, for masks! Heres my method of getting a nice finish when joining ends ... form elast...ic into a loop, a few zigzag stitches to hold it (usually just stitches on top of itself and wont feed nicely )... so, I made a fabric surround from a scrap - 8 layers of poplin ... place underneath the foot from the back and ... feed dogs sit on it as it sews - do a few reverse stitches and trim ... yay!! @berninaaustralia #sewinghacks #sewingelastic #ilovetosewmyclothes #makingmasks @ Brisbane, Queensland, Australia See more
