12.01.2022 Nice big black snake (Pseudechis) Redbelly Black with a white Belly. aprox 1.7m picked up Mt Sheridan. Black snakes love the water, the fact its been so Dry we have been seeing a few of these guys latly coming into back yards with ponds or sprinklers going.

04.01.2022 I had this morning, what I thought was a very suspicious call. It was 4am and this guy calls me. He says to me, I woke up this morning with this snake in my hand. He says it was really thick, as thick as my palm. He says it was to much to handle and I had to let ot go. I need you to come and help me with it. I said What!!! He then says I was sleeping in my truck at a truck stop in Babinda. I said to this fella mate, are having me on. Its 4am. You could imagine I was not impr...essed He said no , am serious. As he had woke me up. I thought am I hearing this guy right. I said mate run that by me again. He repeated the same. I was sus but his number was showing on my screen. So off to Babinda I go. I get there and yes this guy was serious. He tells me he was sleeping in his truck and what he believes was a snake slide over his face. He grabbed it and he said it was as big as his palm and it pulled itself out of his hand. I searched that truck cab for about 45min no snake. I said to the man are you sure you weren't dreaming. He said no. I said well I dont know where it could have gone. if it was that big it would be hard to hide.The man said to me ok paid the callout and off I went. If there was a snake. I would have thought if he had hold of it as tightly as he said. I am suprised it did not bite. I have been a Snake catcher for nearly 20 years I thought I had just about seen it all. See more

04.01.2022 Eastern Small Eye Snake. I dont see to many of these guys. This snake is oftern mistaken for a Slaty Grey. How ever unlike the Slaty the Small Eye is potentially dangerous. This little guy picked up in the Edmonton area.
