24.01.2022 Update: Adopted! Zena is just 10mths old and deserves an amazing home....whilst she will take some time to settle into her new home, this gorgeous girl will be... a great lap warmer once you gain her trust. The thing to remember with Zena.....it has to be on her terms! She loves her pats, but does get a little overwhelmed with too much attention, so to start with, less is best. She will most certainly approach you when she's ready.... Zena would cope best in a home with older children (or no children) as she is a little flighty and plays with her claws fully extended. Zena is very playful, vocal, and loves her wet food and meat. She is currently being fostered in a home with multiple host cats, but does feel threatened when approached by them. She may be happy in a home with a friendly cat, but would need slow introductions and plenty of patience from her owners. She would also do great in an only cat home. Zena just needs a patient, kind, loving home where she will feel safe. To keep her safe (and the wildlife), Zena is looking for an indoor only home, or better still, a home where she also had a secure outdoor enclosed area (so she can enjoy the outdoors safely). That way you'll never have to worry about where she is or the 'presents' she may bring home to show you. Zena has had all her vet work done and now ready to find her forever home. She is located in Mannering Park on the Central Coast NSW. https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/809090

22.01.2022 CAN SOMEONE ADOPT ME PLEASE? Our longest cat at our Erington Hub is Joelene. This beautiful ginger girl came in with her 6 kittens from a Sydney pound a few mon...ths ago and she sadly lost 4 of her kittens. Her other 2 kittens have found wonderful homes, but she has been overlooked. I noticed how sad she looked yesterday. She doesn't like other cats very much, she is getting a little stressed by her environment. I have made it my mission to find her a lovely home. She's nearly 2.5 years of age, suited to a home as the only cat. She is craving love, but has failed so far to catch the eye of people visiting our centre. Please complete the below form if you think she maybe the right kittie for you: https://docs.google.com//1njRIta52kLyastLdBg7tWFwCGK/edit MC No: 900164001904685
21.01.2022 Cleo, our 16wk old kitten, is a very shy and timid little girl when it comes to people, and although she's come a long way since arriving in care, she will need... a patient and understanding home. One who understands that she will take some time to settle into her surroundings and may opt to 'hide out' somewhere safe, until she feels comfortable. Whilst Cleo is timid around people, she adores other cats and kittens and would make a great little companion for your existing cat. She is currently living with 3 other cats in her foster home, 1 of which is under 12mths old....they are great mates, and Cleo loves to play, rumble and follow him around. Once you have Cleo in your arms, she can be quite the purr machine and snuggler and she has had exposure to young children during her time in care. She's quite a gentle girl, but given her shy nature, a home with older children would be better suited. Cleo has a special little bunny toy (which will have to be adopted along with Cleo).......she loves to throw it around, chase it and then curl up for a sleep with it. She is now also starting to play with toys on a string and balls. The thing to remember with Cleo is, everything is on her terms. This sweet girl will need a patient, calm home. She's quite independent and not wanting constant attention from her humans. At this stage, Cleo is definitely not a lap cat, but as she settles and grows in confidence, she may just shock us all! To keep Cleo safe (and the wildlife), she is looking for an indoor only home, or better still, a home where she also had a secure outdoor enclosed area (so she can enjoy the outdoors safely). That way you'll never have to worry about where she is, or the 'presents' she may bring home to show you. Cleo has had all her vet work done and will be ready to head off to her forever home once that perfect home comes along. If you think you can provide the right home and environment for this beautiful girl, please send us an enquiry! Cleo is located in Cooranbong on the Central Coast NSW. https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/813935

19.01.2022 Sherpa says hello! Sherpa is a brave girl and was the first of Jiji’s kittens to climb out the pen and go exploring! Sherpa is the only one of Jiji’s kittens available and she would like to adopted with her mum! Any applications for this wonderful pair will be prioritised over applications for Sherpa on her own. 17.01.2022 PEANUT: Peanut has been with us 3 weeks now and has settled into the Ermington Hub life. He loves playing with the other kittens like Dorian. Peant is a beautif...ul champagne boy of 8 months of age, although looking at him you would think 4-5 months. He has beautiful markings and is super cute to look at. His adoption fee covers all his vet work. To meet this lovely kitten please complete the below form: https://docs.google.com//1njRIta52kLyastLdBg7tWFwCGK/edit MC No: 991003000362444
17.01.2022 Bonnie is a sweet, but shy little girl and just 4 months old....when meeting new people, Bonnie is quite reserved, but doesn't take long to come around. Before ...long, she will be a purring, affectionate girl......requesting pats and attention, and probably food! Toys are definitely a priority for this girl and once she feels comfortable with you, she will love interacting with you at playtime. Bonnie is currently living with both cats and dogs, and although she doesn't interact too much with either, she does seem quite fond of the cats. If she was to find a home with a cat friendly dog, she would certainly learn to adapt. Bonnie is doing really well with using her litter tray and settling in great to her foster home. She would do well either as an only cat or with another cat, but having a confident and friendly cat would help her to overcome her shy nature. Bonnie would cope well in a home with older children, or confident cat children. She's a super sweet girl who has the potential to be an amazing companion. To keep Bonnie safe (and the wildlife), she is looking for an indoor only home, or better still, a home where she also had a secure outdoor enclosed area (so she can enjoy the outdoors safely). That way you'll never have to worry about where she is, or the 'presents' she may bring home to show you. Now that Bonnie has had all her vet work done, it's time for this sweet girl to find her forever home. She is located in Gwandalan on the Central Coast NSW. https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/816048
16.01.2022 Arlo is a very sweet little boy when it comes to his people, and although he's come a long way since arriving in care, he will need a home with no kids or older... one's. He is a purring machine here with us and is cat and dog friendly. He would make a great little companion for your existing cat or cat friendly dog. He is currently living with 4 other cats, dogs, his brother in his foster home. He loves to play, rumble and chase things like all kittens do. He is a purr machine and snuggler and would make a great addition to the right family. To keep Arlo safe (and the wildlife), he is looking for an indoor only home, or better still, a home where she also had a secure outdoor enclosed area (so he can enjoy the outdoors safely). That way you'll never have to worry about where he is, or the 'presents' he may bring home to show you. Arlo will have all his vet work done this week and will be ready to head off to his forever home once that perfect home comes along. 14.01.2022 Introducing Our Adorable Adriana This gorgeous girl was brought to our facility as an unclaimed stray. Adriana is a lovely lady, since she arrived she has de...monstrated a beautiful elegant personality that you can’t help but admire and adore. She is very quiet, clean and easy going...She doesn’t need a lot of fuss, although she does love to interact and enjoy a pat and a smooch with you when you walk past..Other then that, this girl is quiet confident to do her own thing and touch base with you later in the day after her mid-day snooze or afternoon esta. Adriana would suit a smaller household and a home similar to her own personality, somewhere that allows her to enjoy the simple pleasures and she always felt loved, safe and secure in, not a lot loud noises or around young (under 6yrs) busy children as she can scare easily and become a little fearful. But with kind reassurance she is easily brought around. If you think you have a loving forever home for our beautiful lady.. Please submit your adoption interest via the website link below and ask for Adriana Age: 8years Sex: Female Breed: Domestic Short Hair Colour: Dark Tabby Personality: Quiet and lovable Other pets: I can be cat selective, but with the right slow introduction I could happily coexist with a another respectful and calm cat or small dog. 09.01.2022 Kensi arrived into care along with her 3 siblings back in June this year, and it was quite clear these babies were severely traumatised. They saw humans as a th...reat, and Miss Kensi was the worst affected. Her siblings came good within a few weeks and all headed off to their forever homes by week 4. This darling little girl needed some extra time, patience and love from her carers....although it's been a very hard and slow process, Kensi is now beginning to show some progress. Besides being absolutely gorgeous to look at, her little personality is starting to come out. She loves to play....chasing toys, bouncing around to catch those toys on a string, and instigating play with her foster doggie pals. Of course being a cat, this is all strictly on her terms! Daytime is for sleeping and the evening is playtime according to this little Miss. Kensi is more than happy to sleep the day away, finding a quiet cosy place to curl up and recharge the batteries, for playtime in the evening. She can be a little cheeky too and if given the chance, will take a sneaky bite of your steak or pie! This sweet girl will need a patient, calm home. She is still quite reserved and easily spooked, so a home with older children would be better suited. She's quite independent and not wanting constant attention from her humans. At this stage, Kensi is definitely not a lap cat, but as she settles and grows in confidence, she may just shock us all! To keep Kensi safe (and the wildlife), she is looking for an indoor only home, or better still, a home where she also had a secure outdoor enclosed area (so she can enjoy the outdoors safely). That way you'll never have to worry about where she is, or the 'presents' she may bring home to show you. Kensi has had all her vet work done and will be ready to head off to her forever home once that perfect home comes along. If you think you can provide the right home and environment for this beautiful girl, please send us an enquiry! Kensi is located in Gwandalan on the Central Coast NSW. https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/813309

03.01.2022 *UPDATE: ADOPTED!* Hi there, my names Paul, purrrrleased to meet you! I am a majestic, affectionate young man who came into the RSPCA as a stray and because no ...one came looking for me, I am now in search for my new furever home. Could this be with you? I am still quite a young man so my true personality will develop as I grow up in my new home. I would absolutely love a scratching post and lots of toys so that I can be encouraged to do all my natural kitty behaviours. Also a comfy bed or cubby in a nice safe spot to relax would just be the best! I have recovered from Cat flu during my time here at the RSPCA. After recovering from cat flu, many cats will remain life long carriers of the virus. Some cats once they get over the initial cat flu, may never show symptoms again but some may have reoccurring symptoms, often only mild. Cats who are life-long carriers can spread the virus to other cats, as they sometimes 'shed' the virus during periods of stress such as car travel or adjusting to a new environment. So it is important that any other cats in the home are vaccinated, and that your new furever friend remains indoors. A good quality diet such as Hills Science Diet is perfect for me so that I can live a long, healthy and happy life with you. Finally, if you have a place in your heart and home with everlasting love to give then please ask one of the friendly staff members if you can meet me today. *Cat flu recovered* *Indoors only* RON: R251000223 Fee: $180
02.01.2022 **UPDATE ADOPTED** Hi there, my name is Harry and I am a very large, 9 year old, Domestic Long hair, Male, cat, it's lovely to meet you! I was surrendered to R...SPCA at no fault of my own but because my old owners have gone travelling and couldn't take me with them, I'm now on the lookout for my new forever home could that be with you? I would be best suited to a home with no young children as I haven't lived with or met many kids. I will also require an owner who is willing to brush me everyday to keep my long coat looking its best! It's also a great way for me and my new owner to bond! As you can probably tell from looking at me I'm quite a large boy who LOVES his food. I'm currently being fed the Hill's Science Diet and I love it, it has everything I need in it to stay a happy and healthy boy. My new owner will have to be strict with my feeding though to make sure I don't become too overweight. If I sound like the puurrrfect feline thats been missing from your life please call or come into the RSPCA Tuggerah Care Centre to meet me today! I'll be waiting! Adoption fee - $140 *Golden Oldie RON:R251000223
01.01.2022 Meet Possum! Possum started life out in a bad spot. Living on the streets with her sisters wasn’t where she ought to be, so our rescuers managed to catch her (a...nd her sisters!) and they are now with loving fosterers. Possum is a little sweetheart, who has flourished in foster care. She loves cuddles and pats and she’s very nearly ready for adoption after her desexing this week. If you think you might have a home for this beautiful young lady, get in touch! Location: Alexandria
