We may gig 3 months from that point because the venues can no longer afford entertainment. ... As much as I have hounded Jason for the last two years to grow a beard, I never wanted it to be for a reason like this. If you see musicians sporting a beard during this time, remember this: Music for some is a full time income. With no work, there is nothing to get ready for. There is no crowd to please. There is no stage image to uphold. There is a temporary* feeling of a loss of purpose (**keyword being temporary). 15.01.2022 #update It's been a long few weeks already, and we are painfully aware that it is going to be a while until we are able to be reunited with our venues, our crowds, our people. My heart is hurting for the people in this country and on our planet during this completely foreign time; closer to home it is absolutely shattered that for ourselves and so many of our friends, it is going to be months before we play our next gigs. Music and performing is our life, and it's just not t...he same being away from it. However, our passion, joy and excitement for what we do isn't going anywhere, and we can not wait for the day we hear that we can get back to having fun and making music with our crowds, on the much loved stages we call our second homes. Until then, until the day we play again, we let the #apocalypsebeard grow. Stay Safe Y'all.
