19.01.2022 So, in the first round of this madness that is COVID-19, my amazing niece, who is also my part-time assistant, and full time advocate, received the honour of being selected for an internship at a youth magazine. Her topic was celebrations and what goes into making them happen, and she asked if I would be willing to be interviewed. Of course I said yes (mostly because I can't say no to her), and this is the result. Such talent in one so young, she bakes cakes, is a macaron master, makes dragons and unicorns, pipes flowers, lays fondant, and is now a published author!! Even if she hadn't drawn on the time we have spent making the many cakes we have baked and decorated together, I would be proud of her, but this just, pardon the pun, takes the cake...
