25.01.2022 Working on a biggie this afternoon.... This is what 15kg of rich Dark Chocolate mud cake looks like, along side 4.5kg of chocolate ganache!

15.01.2022 A first for me... I went to a croquembouche workshop in August so was excited to give it a whirl as the dessert for Georgias birthday sleep over with her friends last month. I had planned to do the traditional French toffee and spun sugar decorations but discovered last minute that I didnt have one of the ingredients....So, never one to not have plenty of chocolate on hand, we went with this indulgent chocolate alternative. Everyone loved it and it didnt fall over, so Id say it was a success!!

12.01.2022 The brief: Black, purple, silver, edgy, quirky, chocolate, frangipani flowers and able to travel long distances... So this was my chocolate mud crea-cake-tion... With an added sprinkle of silver sparkle for good measure, which travelled out to Yerecoin in the WA wheatbelt last weekend. Happy 40th Birthday Katie! 10.01.2022 Another first for me. This style of cake has been in for ages, and Ive been wanting to make one for a while, so again, what better excuse than for your own kids birthdays! This was a combined creation for both Siennas and Georgias birthdays and I loved the way it turned out. Decorated with fresh flowers from my Mums garden.

I made these Vanilla Bean Sugar Cookies as part of a Hot Chocolate & Cookie gift pack for my daughters friends birthday party a few weeks ago... actually, a double party (there was a also a second set of Holly cookies, but I had already gift wrapped Hollys before I thought to take a photo!).
