23.01.2022 Little Harry's 1st birthday is being celebrated with this nautical themed cake. The base tier is buttercream covered ombre blue vanilla cake and the top tier and lighthouse are non edible for treasuring along with many other dummy cakes and figurines the family have collected over the years from many of the childrens' birthday cakes made by me.

23.01.2022 A Golden Wedding Anniversary deserves a very special cake and so I was asked to make a replica of the top tier of the beautiful couple's original wedding cake. The basket of flowers topper is the original. This cake required many firsts for me but I'm always up for the challenge. We have a delicious boiled fruit cake covered in marzipan and fondant. I've piped Cornelli lace around the sides and added intricate royal icing filigree lacework. The original cake had a cloth lace ruffle but I've given it a lovely soft edible lace for a modern twist. I hope the couple love my attempt to recreate their wedding cake especially as the bride made the original.

13.01.2022 This red velvet car went for a nice long drive to Rochester today. Lucky for me I didn't have to do the 3 hour trip but I'm sure the relatives taking it there from Geelong took good care of it and it will be enjoyed by the birthday boy.
