25.01.2022 The whole enhance studios team cannot be more upset, frustrated and saddened by the bush fire crisis going on right now.. We are getting involved with some pretty amazing photographers and artists and are going to do something in a way that only we know how... Project recapture is about helping those who have lost homes assets and family prints due to the fires, we are giving them a chance to recapture their families, we cant go back on what was but we can help them celebrate... their family and who they are now and their new homes. If you know someone who is impacted, be it a CFA (Country Fire Authority) volunteer who has spent weeks away from home, a family who have fire damaged prints to restore, or someone who has lost a whole lot more. 23.01.2022 Rivers Gift is Australia's solely SIDS focused charity, dedicated to funding world leading research, providing safe sleep, education and raising awareness. This month marks the anniversary of the passing of River Waddel, 8 years ago, River's mother, woke to every parents worst nightmare - her son had passed away in the night. the only diagnosis was SIDS - they came out of that experience wanting to prevent anyone else from ever having to go though what they did. So Rivers Gi...ft was born. Enhance Studios wants to help them raise money and awareness for their research so we are releasing a limited number of sessions to be part of a new project called my baby blue which will be published into a book. We are asking you to donate $50 to Rivers Gift and we are going to donate our time and talent for your family photography experience. 10.01.2022 Wow... the punches just keep coming! I'm sad, disbelieving, angry, faithful, frustrated, optimistic, hurt, irritated, grateful and every other emotion I may have missed. I know that the majority of Victoria are feeling all feels with me, and that is a comfort. I wanted to tell all the families we have photographed in the past and those that are hopeful to see us in the future that, I am here. What this business will look like in 6 weeks time may change, a little or a lot, but... my care for your families memories, the honor I have always felt being entrusted to them, and the love I have felt being invited into your families world for brief moments will always be there. I can continue to do your pre-shoot consultations, work on your art work and even work on a fathers day special for past clients. The gifts that you may have already have, have been extended to the end of the year, and if needed will be extended further into 2021. At this time we do not know what tomorrow will bring, only that the sun will keep moving in the sky and I am not going anywhere (I can't ) I am planning on working on a personal project whilst in lock down... I'll be posting it and putting it in stories as it goes, something completely different for me, but back to my fine art background, so please follow comment and laugh at the amount of mess that I'll be making (you thought cake smashes are only the kids making messes HA!)
