25.01.2022 GOODBYE & THANKYOU!!! 8 years ago, Maria Contarino brought something different to Bunbury. Something exciting that the southwest didn’t have. Cake Works Bunbury has had the privilege of being part of YOUR special occasions birthdays, weddings, christeningsyou name it. In those 8 years Maria not only brought you a specialist cake decorating store and custom make celebration cakes, she also brought you the cutest, most elegant little café in the form of Dolce e Café that pr...ovided a high end quality and style high tea service and then the equally cute and elegant little gift store in the form of Gifts on Wellington. But unfortunately, there comes a time when it’s time to say goodbye. So it is with an extremely heavy heart and plenty of tears that Maria is letting you know that the Cake Works Bunbury journey has come to its end. It Saddens Maria and her staff that they will no longer have the pleasure and privilege of being part of your family celebrations anymore, either by making a custom made cake or happy to provide you with the products, service and knowledge that they know you appreciate. For their beautiful loyal customers whom many have become friends who resisted the urge to shop with large chain stores or online in order to save a few dollars A MASSIVE THANKYOU from the bottom of their hearts. It is your unwavering support that kept them going. That in turn allowed them to support their families and allowed Maria to employ many locals and also take on work experience students from different schools. So from small Humble beginnings to the Greatest of creations, just know that they are forever grateful and so very honoured to have been part of your celebrations.
