DAM: Billabong Rhianna D.O.B. 28-10-17 Genesis is a soft, large framed bull with a great temperament. His dam, Rhianna is a true matron within the Billabong/Calaanah herds. She has had 10 calves in 10 years inc. Abraham ($54,000) to Skye Stud, and Eli ($15,000) to C& J Hicks, as well as 1 retained sire.

19.01.2022 Calaanah’s 1st national female sale is all done and I couldn’t be more happy with how the girls performed and the results they received. Lot 159 Havana sold for $8250 to M & L Lynn Heyman, Coppenhurst Lot 160 Hershey sold for $5750 to Wantmore Stud. 02.01.2022 We love this time of year when we check our paddocks and see all the new calves on the 1st time mothers and the consistent old breeders. Through 4 generations ...of beef producers, we have always maintained our policy that our females can naturally calve and raise their calf without assistance. We believe in a functional, fertile and productive female base that is managed with low stress and little interference. Every female retained in our herd, both stud and commercial, follow this policy. Micheline (pictured) is a true stud matron of the Billabong/Calaanah herd pictured with her new bull calf by Oakmore Quade. She is 16 years old and onto her 13th calf. She only missed 1 year due to being put aside for an embryo program.
