20.01.2022 An earthenware kiln unloading from last weekend. Have been working in a little earthenware clay with a variety of results. The glazing takes a little more time. I do love the crystalline glazes with the explosion of colours. Will keep experimenting. Loving the shape of the lidded jar. The garlic keeper also turned out beautifully. #calamityclaycreations #calamityclaycreationsstudio #calamitykilnopening
18.01.2022 Some more pieces from my firings. #calamityclaycreationsstudio #calamityclaycreationsstudio
16.01.2022 Happy Sunday to everybody. As I am no longer able to attend the Stirling Square Markets at Guildford, I have now joined their online markets. Go and check out all the great stallholders and beautiful items for sale. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2264824853820185/ Enjoy....
16.01.2022 Stirling Square Markets, Guilford that were to be held today have been cancelled due to bad weather. Disappointed, but better to be safe with high winds forecasted.
15.01.2022 All setup and ready to go... Super excited about this event. Heaps of stalls and heaps of food vans. It is on both today and tomorrow, definitely worth the drive out to the gorgeous Nesci Estate for A Taste of Chittering.
15.01.2022 Good morning everybody. These pieces are from my latest kiln firing/opening. Really pleased with how they all turned out. The chip & dip (salsa dish) is a new design, and I am really happy it. Hopefully the markets will resume again soon and I will be able to once again get out and about with my pieces. Until then, I am busy pottering, pottering, pottering and trying new things.
15.01.2022 I will be at this fantastic event again this Sunday. There is going to be 170 stalls with a amazing array of items that would be perfect for christmas gifts. Definitely worth taking the time to come out and spend a while browsing. Hope to see you all there.

14.01.2022 Wishing everybody a belated happy 2021. I have been really busy over the break, producing pieces, although was unable to fire my pieces, as my kiln was awaiting repair for about 6 weeks. So it has been going firing like a trojan for the last couple of weeks to finish everything off. I have attached some photos of my latest pieces that have come out of the kiln in the last couple of weeks. My first markets for the year will be at the Stirling Markets in Guildford on the 21 February and then I will be attending the Perth Artisan's Markets in Mundaring on the 7 March.
13.01.2022 Hello everybody. Here are some pieces from my latest 3 kiln openings. Really happy with how they all turned out. Excited to be back at markets again....

10.01.2022 Looking for that something a little different, check out my yarn bowls that I have just listed in my shop.
09.01.2022 Pieces waiting for their time in the kiln. Been a busy bee lately. Also pieces made by my son Bryce. I have just loaded my kiln with mugs and other bits and pieces for their glaze firing, so will post the results in a couple of days.
08.01.2022 Good afternoon everybody. Here are a few pieces from a couple of my latest kiln openings. I had a disaster last week with my kiln overheating and nearly every piece warped, , so glad that the last firing was great. I have decided to stop selling my pieces through my facebook shop and will just put prices and availability on pictures. (Mugs are $15 each or 2 for $25.00). If you are interested in any of my pieces or have any queries, please contact me. I can certainly recreate any of my pieces that have already been sold. Please note that all items are pick up only from Currambine. I may be able to deliver on request (depending on distance), but would prefer pickup.
06.01.2022 It begins again! First markets for 2020. At Stirling Gardens, Guildford. Beautiful day. Here until 2.00pm. Come out and enjoy the sunshine.
04.01.2022 I will be attending the Stirling Square Gardens Markets in Guildford on Sunday. Should be a great day to get out and about. These are a great market to come and check out with loads of great stalls and lovely surrounds to sit and enjoy the day. https://www.facebook.com/events/810616199701290
03.01.2022 Kiln unloading today. Well this firing was a bit of a saga, as the kiln errored and turned off for a couple of hours until I realised, so restarted and hoped for the best. Pretty happy... only lost two mugs. #calamityclaycreationsstudio #calamitykilnopening #calamityclaycreations
03.01.2022 Good morning everybody. I have added some new listings to my shop today. So go and check out my trinket dishes and all my other pieces. I am hoping to be adding some new mugs and other pieces in the next couple of days. I will also be listing some of my bigger pieces that unfortunately I will not be able to post, due to their size and weight. But you can certainly collect them from Currambine in Western Australia or if possible, depending on distance from Currambine, I may be able to deliver (on Mondays or weekend only).
01.01.2022 It has certainly been awhile since I posted up some of my pieces. Hopefully I will be at the Stirling Square Markets in Guildford on the 16 August (fingers crossed). I will also be at the Perth Artisans Markets on the 23 August at Mundaring Sports Arena. So really excited to be back doing the markets. If you are interested in any of these pieces, please message me.
01.01.2022 Hot out of the kiln. I am extremely pleased with how these turned out. I do not use earthenware clay very often, but as I was give a few bags, thought it was a great opportunity to have a go at hand building some tall vases. I will definitely be doing some more hand building of large pieces in the future (well as big as my kiln will allow).
01.01.2022 Hope that you are all staying safe and healthy during these difficult times. As I posted yesterday, I have now started an online shop. (Click my store tab). I have added new items (mugs) to my shop today. I will be endeavouring to add new items every day. Check it out!
01.01.2022 Happy New Year to you all. I will be busy again this year creating pieces. I am really proud of how far I have progressed with my pottery processes in 2019 and will endeavour to improve and create in 2020, with many new ideas on the horizon. I would like to thank everyone who purchased a piece from me in 2019, your support is much appreciated. In 2020 I will be expanding my selling to online (through Facebook and Instagram). I will let you all know when I am up and runn...ing. Once again, thank you for all your support and I will be continuing to post my pieces through this page and instagram throughout 2020. I have attached a few pictures of some of my pottery pieces from 2019. Wishing all you the best for 2020 and that the year brings you all the joy and happiness you deserve.
