Nathan Maiorana comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from coaching at other NPL clubs, academies and in the APS school competitions. Nathan will be our U17s head coach for season 2021.... Justin Iaria will be looking to further develop his coaching skills as Nathan’s assistant. We welcome these new faces to the Calder family and look forward to their valued contribution in season 2021
17.01.2022 When people talk about pathways, progression and opportunities in football, for young girls it can sometimes be hard for them to see it. This is a message to all our mini Roos and juniors .... this is your club ... these are our players ... this can be you one day. Calder are so proud of our players that are part of the 20/21 W league and we wish them all the success as they have worked so hard.... Though hard work and a determined attitude these young ladies are living their dream. Our programs and coaching led by our senior coaches Mark Torcaso and Ian Williamson are a testament to why Calder United are the most successful women’s club in Victoria arguably Australia. We will continue to grow, expand and create the ideal pathway that our girls need. Every year more and more Calder girls will get to take their game to the next level and we are committed to making this happen from our youngest mini Roo to our most senior player. This is currently happening every year with Calder represented in the W League and with players getting opportunities to go overseas and play. The girls played 2 exhibition games wearing the green and black as representation of their partnership before the Western United A league team played a friendly V Melbourne City.
