Peer Discipleship happens when Christ centred friendships have the common purpose of accomplishing the will of God. Discussion questions: 1. What stops friends from helping to form Christ in each other? 2. How does focus on the first four companions blind us from valuing the first companion, the brother/sister that will disciple us? ... 3. Which brother/sister are you committed to disciple? Are they also committed to your growth in Jesus? 4. 05.01.2022 Just read the final Feb 9 report on Ravi Zacharius sexual misconduct, below is CT article about the report. Extremely sad, an unneeded distraction from the truth of the gospel. It just shows no Believer, even the renowned are beyond accountability, even leaders with distinct positional authority and brilliant spiritual gifting as Ravi are vulnerable. One RZIM senior apologist mentioned the toxic loyalty in the organisation, such a common issue in the Christian world. Seems like a big failure from the board and involved family members. 03.01.2022 In 2018 I made a covenant commitment to my mate, Ps Mike and his family, his Church and his people. In 1 Samuel 18:1-5, David made an oath to Jonathan and his entire house. Covenant relationship expands the Kingdom of God quickest. It ensures Christ is at the center of all our work and that we will together follow the Holy Spirit despite differences and challenges that will inevitably rise in our relationship.
