17.01.2022 May 20 is World Metrology Day, commemorating the anniversary of the signing of the Metre Convention in 1875. The theme for World Metrology Day 2018 is Constant evolution of the International System of Units (SI). This theme was chosen because in November 2018, the General Conference on Weights and Measures is expected to agree on one of the largest changes to the International System of Units (the SI) since its inception. The proposed changes are based on the results of rese...arch into new measurement methods that have used quantum phenomena as the basis for standards that are fundamental. The SI will be based on a set of definitions each linked to the laws of physics and have the advantage of being able to embrace further improvements in measurement science and technology to meet the needs of future users for many years to come. World Metrology Day recognises and celebrates the contribution of all the people that work in intergovernmental and national organizations throughout the year on behalf of all.

07.01.2022 One of the most common questions we receive is how often should I calibrate my instrument? Unfortunately this question is not as easy to answer as one may think. http://ow.ly/5oFj303rZMA
06.01.2022 Calibration is simply the act of reporting what an instrument indicates. Adjustment is the act of bringing at item to within specifications. Sometimes this is not possible due to many factors including an item that is unserviceable, no service manuals, or no adjustment procedures. When we calibrate an item and find it out of specifications we will advise you if we can adjust it, if we can it extends the lifetime of the instrument, saving you money.
