24.01.2022 Winter is here at last, Just a tip for you ! make sure you haven;t left any electrical leads or equipment where its exposed to the weather or else you could find yourself without power due to the water getting in. take 10 minutes to look around outside and have a quick check in the interests of safety ..... Might also be a great time to clean the gutters and fertilize the lawn on the weekend but hey that;s not electrical now is it.... Oh and turn the reticulation off.

19.01.2022 Awards Update : As a result of winning the state 2019 NECA Excellence Awards for one of our projects a couple of months ago we are now to be part of the National Awards for all of Australia to be held in Brisbane on the 21st of November where we will be up against all the winners from every state around Australia. 18.01.2022 Calibre Electrical are pleased to advise they have purchased another service vehicle to increase the level of response to our customers. This vehicle is currently being fitted out to ensure we optimise service and response times and it will carry an extensive amount of stock to ensure we can repair and replace many items without leaving the job to collect parts and this will save costs for our valued customers. Calibre always strive to deliver the best service while keeping the cost of the job as low as possible. Thanks for your continued support !

16.01.2022 Did you know the latest Electrical standards have now been released and now every circuit of power in a house is to have electrocution protection or residual current devices (RCDs) Installed on it. We cant believe it took this long for the department of energy safety to enforce this to reduce the risk of people dying from electric shock in residential properties ?? This means that all new homes in Perth will now be requiring RCDs to be installed on circuits such as ovens, hot... water systems, hot plates, air conditioners etc. This will also effect all new homes being constructed .Give us a call and have a chat about how this change may effect you. We look forward to hearing from you . You should also consider upgrading your own residence for piece of mind to protect yourself and your loved ones Phone Calibre Electrical on 9331 5011 to organize a quotation to get your property compliant . Act now and avert a potential tragedy. See more

07.01.2022 Calibre Electrical Contractors are proud to announce we are nominating our most recently completed commercial project in the northwest called the Wickham Community Hub for the National Electrical Contractors Awards. The 16 million dollar project was a great success and will be an important asset to the local community consisting of an outdoor Skate Park, Public Library, Youth Building and Early Learning Centre. It also has some offices for Non-Profit Organizations. The project was funded by the City of Karratha, Rio Tinto and a Lottery West grant. The building was designed to be environmentally friendly with a large Solar System installed and LED lighting used throughout to reduce carbon emissions.

05.01.2022 This is really worth watching and sharing with friends with older homes

03.01.2022 Helpful tip ! Is your safety switch tripping out and wont reset. Possibly after heavy rain.To solve this problem and maybe aviod having to pay for an electrician to attend you should try the following. Unplug every appliance through the house . That means pull the plug out as just turning the power point of wont fix the problem. Dont forget dishwashers, microwaves, fridges and pond pumps or even gas ignition power points for hot plates. Once you have done this try and reset t...he power point safety switch . If it resets plug the TV or a radio in first and if it works turn the volume up loud so you can hear it throughout the house. Then one person not 2 people should progress through the house and plug one item back in at a time . If the music or TV cuts out when you plug a particular item in then this is probrably the defective item . This can be confirmed by repeating the process . Unplug everything again and reset the power safety switch then do the TV or Radio thing again and then go back to the item that caused it to switch off last time and plug it back in . If the power cuts out again pull the plug out having proven this item is probrably the defective one so leave it unplugged reset the power and proceed to plug other items in one at a time.Hopefully all items will come back on. If not you need to call us and we can check further to isolate and repair the problem . Have a great day and good luck with your fault finding. See more
