23.01.2022 CALIBRE MARINE SECURES ORDER FOR TWO 20 METRE FISHING VESSELS FOR TWO GULFS CRAB Long term clients Dennis & Karen Holder have again entrusted the team at Calibre Marine for construction of their new pair of CALIBRE CM60EXT crab boats which will replace their current vessels Silver Spectre and Tenacity operating out of Port Adelaide and Wallaroo SA. Designed by OCEANTECH the new vessel are a lengthened version of the evolved CM60 design developed primarily for Rock Lobster and... Blue Crab Fishing featuring a flared bow incorporating a spray knuckle, clean working deck and efficient hull-form. The design is versatile enough to be configurable for a multitude of operations and offered as a high quality turn key package by Calibre. Each of the new vessels will be powered by a single SCANIA diesel driving through a ZF gearbox and a 5 blade fixed pitch propeller with an articulated rudder. CUMMINS ONAN will provide the onboard power generation for hotel loads and refrigeration.

20.01.2022 CALIBRE builds a large range of heavy duty commercial vessels for all types of operations. Recently delivered to NSW Department of Industry | Lands & Water Division is a 5.85 Metre Heavy Duty Work Punt with Aluminium Trailer. The vessel is based at Buronga on the Murray River and is fitted with a MERCURY Seapro 115 supplied and fitted by Sports Marine

12.01.2022 "Arcadian" is a new 17.4m (57 2" measured) rock lobster vessel launched late last year by Calibre Marine Pty LTD for the Higgs Family of Port MacDonnell, SA. S...he was built from an all new GMD hull design and Marine Kit and has performed to our high expectations, achieving 23 knots at sea trials. The loaded cruise speed is even more impressive, 17.5 knots with 140 pots plus misc gear on board at 1750 RPM from the Yanmar 900hp. The ride is very soft, predictable and dry, making Arcadian a pleasure to fish. Arcadian is a shining example of the high quality vessels that are made possible by combining a GMD design and Marine Kit, with Calibre Marines fabrication and in-house engineering capability. Were looking forward to future builds for the South Australian coast and beyond!

12.01.2022 Farewell to our latest new build "Arcadian" a 57 Lobster Vessel for the Higgs family of Port Macdonnell SA. Well done to all involved particularly Ron Beaucaris who went above and beyond as always and I cant thank him enough for his efforts.
