23.01.2022 I'd love to say that I embrace every Monday, get up at 5am to meditate, do a workout and set myself up for the week but that isn't true! Some weeks, I look forward to them and am organised and planned for what's to come. Other weeks I stumble through and before I know it, it's Wednesday! Last Monday, I had an online exam to do for my postgraduate diploma, I also had a child off sick and by Monday afternoon, I was sitting with two children waiting 2.5 hours for COVID-19 tes...ts for all three of us. But hey, I got an HD on the exam, we were all negative and we got through to Thursday when they could go back to school! Who knows what's in store for tomorrow. But either way, it's ok! What's good or bad about this Monday? 18.01.2022 Things I’ve learned about myself in the last few months Stopping and slowing down has brought me calm where there is usually chaos. My usual days are spent running around after children, catching up on what should have been done yesterday and being 'busy' but not achieving much. I've taken time out of the usual grind to focus on my business and studies. The slower pace has enabled me to be more mindful about what I do and to block out the noise of distractions pulling me e...very which way! That I can cook! And for the first time in a very long time, I enjoy it! I am also growing vegetables so zucchini has become the new staple in our house. Creating delicious meals that are appreciated means I can be creative AND support my family's health. I am motivated by helping others. Being able to use my expertise to guide people to a better place than they are currently in, increase their confidence and belief in their own capabilities and raise their career vibrations is amazing! Having the freedom to structure how I work with amazing women and empower them to achieve their career goals is a pretty awesome job if you ask me. 09.01.2022 Pondering all that's been good this year. At the beginning of 2020, I was feeling confident this was my year, then...well you know what happened to all of us next.
